Heck, what's one hundred dollars going to do in the long run? And please- they'll only raise taxes again to make up for the loss.

Save your $100.00 rebate and lower gas taxes permenantly by finding other fuel sources that ACTUALLY WON'T DRIVE UP FOOD PRICES!! And btw, keep the $100 and use it to fix the roads in the third world country known as 'Niagara Falls, NY'. >:(

$100 are you kidding me, why bother. It will cost us $200 in government fees to get the $100.

Why give it to each household? They should give it to all licensed drivers...oops...I forgot that may include illegal immigrants. Also our welfare recipients who don't own cars, but opt to take an ambulance ride to get from one end of the city to the other will also benefit from this windfall!?

How much would this $100 relief the cost payers to process. Will the $100 really be work it or will it cost more to send us that $100. Great policiations at work once again.

Um....isn't this like, stupid?

Don't we already have a multi-billion dollar deficit because these mentally-impaired gorillas in Albany forgot to cut spending?

THEY NEED TO LOCK THE GAS TAXES AT A FIXED AMOUNT THATS FAIR. EVERY TIME THE PRICE GOES UP WE PAY A MORE IN TAXES ALSO. THE OIL SUPPLIERS ARE ROBBING US GIVING THEM CRAZY PROFITS. THE GAS REFINERIES ARE ROBBING US ALSO. AS THE PRICE GETS HIGHER WE GET ROBBED ON STATE SALES TAX AND ROAD FUEL TAXES. THEY NEED TO SET A FIXED TAXED RATE ON FUEL FOR CARS AND TRUCKS. THE GOVERNMENT SHOULD HAVE SOME CONTROL OVER HOW MUCH PROFIT THEY CAN MAKE BECAUSE IT IS A FORM OF MONOPOLY THAT THEY ARE ALL WORKING TO PRICE FIX AND BLEED THE PEOPLE. THAT SOON WILL RAISE THE PRICES ON FOOD. THE RICH GET RICHER AND THE POORER GET DUMPED ON. OIL COMPANY'S ARE MAKING MORE MONEY THAN EVER WHILE THEY CRIPPLE THE COUNTRY'S ECONOMY.

Or, you could fill your gas tank and get one meal at a restaurant; so really, how much is this going to help?

Still, something back, for most people, is better than nothing!

Hmm raise the sales taxes...
raise the thruway tolls...
raise property taxes...
should I go on?

But oh look at me, the magical happy fairy, I can make things all better by sending you lousy $100 to each house? At least the feds are giving $600 to each indivual taxpayer.

What a crock, the feds plan makes sense, even though we are in debt 10 feet over our heads at the fed level, 600 smackers per person is a lot better then 100 per house.

Nice try NYS, why not take this money and pay off our debts, or make some capital improvements to UPSTATE NY for once. Use it to bring some business up here or build the waterfront or the F***ING PEACE BRIDGE, I mean you have this $300 mill floating around right?

Why not turn it into a "lottery". Choose 30,000 legal, taxpaying, licensed New Yorker's $10,000 each. Or give 60,000 $5,000 each...etc.

I'd rather take my chances then a lousy $100.

What a break. Surely this plan will ultimately save the state money as opposed to the tax suspension.
