And he still wouldn't have been able to do much...he's a citizen of Texas! He can't vote in New Mexico anyway.

Not like taxpayer money that's taken from people by force of law, and then used to fund lavish travel for the Obama family and other government officials.
Oh so splurging to refurnish the governor's mansion is okay with you?

And before you so willfully forget...there's something about a trip to Louisiana that hasn't been fully addressed...

Dude, keep posting because you keep proving how little you know so much. And you are so bold about it!

Actually I was on another thread asking why he withdrew himself from the Obama nomination. What skeletons was he hiding?

Ah but furthermore I wasn't in jail. How long was he governor? From 2003 to 2011. I spent one day in a New Mexico jail so if my one day could've changed things in New Mexico or better yet you think my one day had any affect then you are as stupid as your comment is insane.

You're the stupidest stupid to ever stupid!

Did you read the article? The state budget to furnish the governor's mansion was 62 grand. Governor Martinez did the whole thing for 26 grand. Saved the state over 35 grand. Good job governor Martinez! I approve!

Did you hear, Governor Martinez went to Florida too..something about the Republican convention?

Oh I read the article, the fact is the mansion already has furnishings so why even waste $20,000 dollars.

Your last remark means nothing. So your answer to her possible illegal trip using taxpayer money for an illegal purpose is justified by an appearance at the convention. That strange thing is that actually makes sense to you.

So then a person who robs a bank is justified because they later made a deposit elsewhere. You are a true genius.

By the way I just noticed an error I made on an above post. I meant to type that I wasn't in jail during his entire term. I cut myself off by posing the question of how long he was in jail so it looks wrong. I apologize for not proofreading.

But let's get back to Ashley Furniture...

http://www.furnituretoday.com/article/537085-...

Already discussed right? So we can agree that she bought furniture from this particular store. The question now is...

http://www.ashleyfurniture.com/WhereToShop/Wh...

So there's the exact same store in Albuquerque. Why then spend more money to travel to Las Cruces, and why spend more money to have the furniture shipped from Cruces to Santa Fe?

Would it have anything to do with a contribution during the campaign?

Public record Wanda Bowman of Ashley Furniture contributed $1,000 to Martinez. Look for yourself page 16:

https://cfis.state.nm.us/media/ReportsPreview...

Wanda Bowman - 4331 Superstition Dr., Las Cruces NM 88011
Ashley Furniture
$1,000.00

So to thank her Martinez not only buys $20,000 worth of furniture but also appoints her to a political position!

http://www.nmnn.net/press/gov121611.pdf

"Governor Martinez has made the following appointment to the Youth Conservation Corps Commission:
Wanda Bowman of Las Cruces"

http://www.emnrd.state.nm.us/YCC/documents/20...
Wanda Bowman
Chair

So by the evidence Wanda Bowman paid to play. Didn't Martinez campaign against that?

Wow, for a Texan, you spend a lot of time researching New Mexico politics. You'd really flip if you knew how much Rick Perry spend to renovate the governor's mansion in your own state...but then, you don't have a personal ax to grind with him.

No matter. The article also states that Susana Martinez has been a customer of that store for years. Susana Martinez only works in Santa Fe and lives there as Governor, but doesn't live there full time. So why not shop in your hometown, where you've been shopping for years? I didn't see anything in the article about who paid for the shipping, but I would guess, having done business with Ashley as a store manage years ago, that on an order that large, Ashley paid the shipping themselves.

Could it also be that in a town like Cruces, Wanda Bowman and Susana Martinez are friends? Martinez might know Bowman's business experience, and she might trust her as a person. Thus, who are you going to appoint to positions? People you know and trust? It would be stupid not to. Whenever I ran, or managed, a company, I always hired and promoted people I knew and trusted.

Got something that indicates Wanda Bowman can't do the job? Please let us know!

Oh, and I'm going with the trip to Louisiana being legal, rather than illegal. You have a habit of habit of making false accusations.

I could, for instance, state that it is possible that it's illegal for you to be on the internet, given your history with child stalking. But just because it's possible, doesn't mean it actually is. Or does it? That's how unfounded accusations work.

You libs always think anyone who opposes your limited, narrow self interest is corrupt. A difference in opinion doesn't make one corrupt. In fact, an opinion different than yours proves a person's intelligence and honesty. We all know liberal ideas don't work, just like communism doesn't work. It's business and industry that drives an economy, NOT government. Susana Martinez has done exactly what the majority voted for her to do. Now it's time to elect a legislature that will work with her to revive our state after a half century of old, tired Democrat ideas that have put our state in the position it's in..near the bottom of the barrel. Want progress? Vote Republican, for a change!
This is so funny coming from you. You support a lab that is killing more Americans than our enemies, has failed each and every audit ever, and you want more money, and on top of that, they are getting ready to shut it down slowly for blatant incompetence, corruption, and embezzlement by its leaders, and you talk about "narrow"? LOL, wait come Feb, sucker.

The chickens are coming to roost. Instead of whining about your Federal Welfare check ,how about going to work, doing some labor, and making sure more Americans don't get exposed and die, since you guys are such screw-ups you can't write or follow easy procedures?

Funny post. What are you gonna do next, reclaim the polls you aren't capable of using your brain to understand how they work support your future losing candidate, too?

BTW, the most productive countries on earth are all left wing.

Texans must be smarter than New Mexicans..they're economy is way better than ours. They're education system is way better than ours. They're standard of living is higher than ours.

I guess that means we need more Texans to run things around here.

Leave it to a liberal to tell people having a job is a narrow self interest. Leave it to a liberal to tell people that anything other than their own ideology is corrupt. American liberals are the most intolerant people on the face of the planet..except for maybe militant Muslims. Hopefully, while in Wyoming, Governor Martinez will be able to convince some oil and gas people to come back to New Mexico by promising not to abuse them the way Bill Richardson did.

Hey, you went first, hoss! Your boss still people they can't get married, employing wife and girlfriend beaters, and makin' up stories too?

You gonna use a swear word next, and have your only defense be it must be liberals swearing? Bet you a cps investigation might find your kids with funny, bleeding hemorrhoids too, eh? Maybe when Martinez slides out of office, she can defend you as your attorney?

The only morons here are the ones who automatically assume that good paying jobs equal pollution.
None of the jobs you describe are good pauying when you figure in health care costs of the dying from being exposed to toxins, or the deformed kids, either.

I'm guessing you are one of those kids, since you think the only good job is a dirty job.

Hmmm...so it slowly plays out.
If you check her candidate expenditures and contributions report that are publicly available...you'll see she made a few trips to Colorado during her campaign. She did a lot of business in Colorado during her campaign...all the while claiming to want jobs for New Mexico. Matter of fact. I'd still like to know who she met in Beverly Hills, California at some steakhouse where she spent over $2,000 during the campaign.
Her interests have nothing to do with promoting New Mexico or trying to benefit the citizens of New Mexico her interests lie solely with Susana Martinez.
Ayn Rand is her God, which is the main reason the Catholic Church ex-communicated her.

You didn't include the follow up expenses, which exceeded that, including the kitchen and other things she bought. The part you mentioned is the normal move in cost, her costs since then have exceeded all of the people who were governor before her for the last 20 years put together.

He was not a child stalker, that was Corndogz, your friend, and the First Baptist Church elders where you work, who had sex with their own kids, put it on flash drives with other kiddie porn, and gave it to the other elders. BTW, they all voted republican, too.

I'm sure you are already familiar with unfounded accusations. But, my comments came from the front page of the Monitor.

They used to be run by Democrats. It has steadily gone downhill since Bush 41 ran the state. We already have a Texan republican ruining things here permanently, we don't need more of them here ever at all.
