What's odd here is the complaining by some. "At Gallup High, with an enrollment of about 1,100, teachers say they spent the first nine weeks of the school year reviewing material to prepare students for state-mandated standardized tests."

Teaching the test is the approach teachers have applied for several decades now, what's changed in that respect?

Interesting that the real post #1 only shows if you're logged in registered, if you do a drive by grey it doesn't. Think I'll post it again and see what happens. Topix...

As usual the highly critical political element of NM abound, yet not a one of them bring a better idea to the table, and it should be obvious to everyone we cannot continue in the same vein we have been.

Sounds much like the last 5 decades in NM, we don't like your ideas but we have nothing better to offer so lets do nothing.

'teaching' the test, nothing could be more true. But it is TEACHING of a different kind. Money's involved much like making the ODDS better. CASINO minded that's all. Kids get it.
