Was also why horse stealing was a hanging offense. But now we can take the government's horses to work.
Sorry Juan, but the horse stealing was making the point that your own personal transportation was your life-line and taking it away was a "hanging" offense. Everyone should have the right to get from one place to another.

The government horses are: public transportation. Saves the environment (?). Then people can also use scooters or bicycles, skateboards, roller blades, walking etc..

Nothing against non-citizens having a DL. Take a look at Europe, where in some cases you need an International Driver's License in addition to your valid US one. Seems that the same could be done here. But that is for another thread.

We should be able to drive, we have no other way to get to work to support our families here and in Mexico.
I agree. Do you have a valid Mexican DL? If not you can get one here in NM and it is a US DL. It is legal in our state. If you obtain it legally, no problem. It is the illegal obtaining of a NM DL that is the issue. Not the immigration status of the person applying for one, as that can be done legally in NM.

And like health insurance, soon to be, auto insurance is mandatory. Don't think you needed Horse Riding Insurance or a Horse Riding License in the golden past. The right to move on your own. To be self-reliant back then was sacred. Should be the same now as well.

coming to Juan and Jose's defense. Men find two countries, start two welare families and with a few, very few dollars can get a driver's license used as a legal ID to prove legal status as a citizen. How sweet it is! International word is out come to the Albuquerque, get a driver's license and you are set. Greener pasture found here.

Juan, don't worry for I KNOW we're not liked. Nutt'n wrong and we have to try to make the Capitalists happy by helping their profits grow. Clothes don't make the man so 'Hecho en Mexico' is less expensive than USA-made. Can't blame Paco for Walter's greediness. Paco only buys USA-made stuff. I would really be happy to have my own FREE avatar.

Juan came by extremely upset and distraught. WHY? he wants to know do they pick on poor Juan? I gave him some Comfort and told him that at least it's not as bad as being exploited and get no money. SI, SI he understands. Everyone leave Juan alone, he has a life to live as you and I.
