<quoted text>and just how long ago was that? TIME, that gift God gave us. Polygamy: females always outnumber males, females need the help of the male to continue, males are most available to have women provide for their own needs. God says one MAN one WOMAN in the NEW TESTAMENT. A civilized society thinks. Slavery: human abusing each other, strenght, power, economy. Animal sacrifices: and there IS CHRIST, the ultimate sacrifice to end them all, some humans are stuborn, that's current. Strict dietary laws: diets are healthy as well as spiritual ways of communicating with God, current practice, try it The Bible has always been 'current'. Check it out, historically correct,as for God creating the universe and the earth in SEVEn DAYS it's all a matter of TIME and Who keeps it going. SEVEN DAYS, it's true.
You obviously know NOTHING about what the bible says, as evidenced by your last 2 sentences. The bible says that Yahweh created the Earth in SIX (6) DAYS, NOT 7 DAYS. He RESTED on the 7th day.

And btw, you are ADVOCATING polygamy ???

Jesus Of Nazareth was a Jew, and nearly everyone he associated with were Jews. The Jews WERE POLYGAMOUS IN THE TIME OF JESUS OF NAZARETH. The Jews did NOT stop practicing polygamy until about the 11th century, when large numbers of Jews began moving from the Middle East into Europe, and encounters a lot of hostility to polygamy, mostly from Christians. And even today, some Jews ARE still polygamous.

It was the pagan Romans who practiced monogamy, NOT the Jews of Jesus Of Nazareth's time.

<quoted text>TIME, oldest Book ever written that remains 'current', how are we able to think, to reason, to live? God and without God there is emptiness, a mighty void, we would be no better than animals. THINK-use that structure God Himself gave us permission to use; OUR INTELLECT. Just in case we forget, there's the EternalBook to remind us. There's always somebody who knows better but The Bible is always there to set us straight. As the Bible, Itself says, we also need Teachers to guide us to our last breath. Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow, love's all around us when you know, read and follow Biblical Truth, All Written by GOD Himself Who's always giving the BEST.
If you don't think that animals don't have souls, then you have never had a pet. Frankly,if I had to choose between spending an eternity with a miserable self righteous tight ass like you, or an eternity with my dearly loved passed pets, guess what Cletus, I guess I better learn to speak cat, and dog, and rabbit, and parakeet, and....

Provide the scientifically verifiable proof, please.

Good luck with that.

Really, as long as you keep your religious views inside your own life, you are welcome to them, whatever they may be. If you try to create laws that apply those beliefs to others, expect a fight.

It's rather simple.

idiot! lovingly expressed as we're talking TRUTH, Bible, God. TIME's a human way of recording the fact we are alive, the human need to enable our actions together. Scientifically, earth's place in the sun, the climate, the stars, the light and the dark. Laws apply to everyone, laws keep me from stabbing you as you shower, laws keep that child developing in my belly. Laws keep that male instinct from mating every body you see and meet. Laws keep us civilized. God is in me as is the love for Life.

Your beliefs are not the standard of Civil Law. To attempt to make them so, violates the Freedom of (and from) Religion guaranteed to everyone in our Constitution.

If you want to live in a theonomy, there are a handful of Nations that operate on that principle. Generally though, "Concha", they'd also tell you to sit down and shut up.

Ever see these?

Fortunately, for you, you have the freedom to have those beliefs, and the freedom to exercise free speech about your beliefs. Freedom is a great thing.

Fortunately, for the rest of us, the USA is not a Christian theocracy, and you are not allowed to impose your beliefs on everyone else.

Twelve reeds announce boldly that they have decided to bend in the wind.

Three Marlins announce boldly that they will be mounted above the fireplace.

Fourteen truck treads announce boldly that they will allow themselves to be left by the wayside on the Interstate.

Seven babies and thirteen octogenerians announce boldly that they will allow their nannies to change their nappies.

These faith leaders have the faith of their own hubris.
