I grow my own tomatoes, and can cook burgers well done to kill the E coli. But this latest development is serious.

Well, next thing you know we won't be able to eat veggies or any other type of foods, fear of getting sick. Sounds like some people needs to get back to the basics of washing all foods before preparing to eat and handling them right. That is common knowledge, well to some it is......

I am fan of jalepenos and eat almost daily. This is not good. Well, at least it hasn't hit beer yet.

Has anyone noticed that in the last two years we have had more outbreaks of food being contaminted then in the last twenty years?
What is wrong with this picture? Something dosnt just seem right.
In the meantime I continue to wash, cook and eat the veggies I buy with no problem.

NEWS UPDATE: It is now reported the a possible contaminate responsible for the salmonella outbreak is hopps. As most of us know, this is used in the process to make beer. Those who like jalepenos and beer are advised to purchase the decontaminator, now available via infomercial on late night TV for 19.95, but if you act now, they will send you a second decontaminator absolutely free. If you call within the next 10 minutes, they will also include 10 (yes 10) free airplane barfy bags, just in case the product does not work ........
