They turned overtime slips for overtime worked for a federal Stone garden grant. The Deputies never actually worked, they stayed at home and were collecting overtime, but the grant requires stats. So the deputies used information on individuals from other incidents to write out fake citations to make it looked like they were working. FRAUD, LARCENY ETC!! WOW!! WAY TO GO SHERIFF!
BY THE WAY HE(the newly elected sheriff) HIRED ALL 3 OF THEM!!

Hum..."Believe it or Not" must be an officer that currently or did at one time work at the sheriffs office and is anti-Villanueva, but all i have to say is all officers have done just the same at one time or another, how about when their caught in a handicap parking visiting a girlfriend, how about when you have cops in other locations and belong elsewhere on duty and drive like a bat out of hell when a call comes in and they need to get somewhere wheres the safe driving then? doesnt that all fall under the same as being at home getting paid!! No matter who you get for sheriff, for mayor, for council no one really gets the job done we all are hoping for...Its promises everyone makes. And as for Mr. Villanueva hiring these gentlemen, how is he to know they will do something like this, " I seriously doubt its on their resumes"

All we can do is not vote for him next time but I'm sure there are many citizens who now wish they didn't.... police need to do what there paid to do and get the people who are doing the crimes they say and stay off the road harrassing people over minor things... yes some police care but most are involved in the corrupt drug and money laundering they say there trying to fight. they should require a polygraph test for all law enforcement in grant county
