The Washington Post has a new owner now (the guy that also owns ). The news site is charging viewers now after 20 free articles per month. If a person really wants to read this article, then they should see if it is printed elsewhere.

0h,ps....the web WaPo is possibly going to be run by a staunch liberal who contributes heavily to progressive, strong-federal-gov take-over rule....socialism/communism. The guy hasn't been hired yet for this post, but has been instrumental for in the past.

I read this online in a commentary over at reuters.

Here's an AP article out of ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.
The same thing, I'm assuming
(I know nothing of this web site, but am assuming
it is upstanding and unbiased.)

It seems that the WaPO wishes to make prominent the fact that a "reverend" performed the vows.

The above article from Time Colonist says that "Jeff Williams, a public information officer in the county's government and (also ?) a reverend with Universal Life Church, said he was marrying same-sex couples... "

Looking up the Universal Live Church you'll find that it is (what I call) an online ordination mill. The web site has 'ordained' 20 million worldwide for cash. The web site has 300 some google followers.

The Reverend Moon was head of a 'church,' too. His 'church' was not a Christian Church. His church worshiped the Reverend Moon! Members were hypnotized when they joined, gave 100% of their earthly wealth to the 'church' and went begging in the streets to gain money for Moon. Moon had a great tax shelter and became very wealthy. Moon was purchasing news media outlets, too.

I don't know if this Universal 'Church' is a cult, too, like that, but I do know that it is not a Christian Church. How?

An ordained minister at a Christian Church, following the Bible's Truth, would not be able to officiate at any other marriage than one between one man and one woman. An ordained minister at a Christian Church 'officiates'....they do not perform the actual marriage...God does this.
This is Biblical Truth. So the marriages performed by this Universal Williams are not 'performed.'
God did not sanction the union of the same-sexed couples. Williams did the sanctioning and the County then licensed them until a higher court says that the license will remain valid or not.

The distinction is important. People should know the truth.

I think people need to be very careful nowdays to get their news from unbiased that allows the reader to learn truth. The news sources today are increasingly being side-lined to push propaganda for 'their' cause even if it is lying! The reader is thus 'fooled' into being swayed over to the news outlet's view. And then they get confused.

It is classic disrespect for a news outlet to sway any reader.
