Since they are here working to make their living, having no criminal records, why not to let them do the right thing? unfortunatly they have to move from one spot to another in order to make through their way to work and so on...

You're kidding right? They aren't here legally and they aren't working legally.

Their chance to "do the right thing" should have started before the ILLEGAL ALIEN lying thieves sneaked into this country or overstayed their visas.

It's a federal felony for anyone including a state to aid and abet an ILLEGAL ALIEN to come to or remain in the U.S.. Giving an ILLEGAL ALIEN a driver's license is encouraging them to remain here.

Driver licenses are just one of the benefits of being a US citizen, why should it be given to people who snuck into the country?

A Drivers License is a privilege NOT a right. It can be revoked or not even issued at the discretion of the State. A license is the key to other benefits and should be for legal citizens only.

Quote:

"On September 10, the parents of 3-year-old Marten Kudlis buried their son
at Fairmount Cemetery, after he was killed last week, while waiting for his
ice cream in a Denver Baskin and Robbins.

An SUV speeding through the intersection of Havana and Mississippi, with
Guatemalan national Francis Hernandez at the wheel, slammed into a pickup
truck, which was then pushed into the ice cream shopīs window. The toddler
was sitting at a table in front of that window, and was sent flying as the
truck came crashing through it.

After the crash, Hernandez jumped from his Chevy Suburban and fled the
scene. He was later apprehended without incident.

Marten was taken to the hospital, but died a short time later due to massive
internal injuries.

The two women in the pickup truck struck by Hernandez were Patricia
Guntharp, 49, and Debra Serecky, 51. They were both pronounced dead at the
scene.

KMGH of Denver covered the childīs funeral and reported that the first song
heard during the service was Eric Claptonīs "Tears in Heaven."

In a heart wrenching display of grief and anger, Martenīs mother Marat
Kudlis shouted: "That bastard!" referring to the illegal immigrant who
killed her son. Between the tears, Martenīs father cried out: "I really
loved him."

The rabbi conducting the service told the heartbroken family and friends:
"This burden feels like more than we can bear because it is so sudden. Itīs
a parentīs worst nightmare. It does not seem fair and it is not fair to lose
someone so young."

A teddy bear was placed in the tiny open casket which held Martenīs body.

Following the funeral, many of the mourners returned to the crash site,
which has become a makeshift memorial, filled with flowers, stuffed animals,
and cards with expressions of sympathy and support for the Kudlis family.

One of those mourners, Duane Stokes, told a KMGH reporter: "I helped pull
Marten out of the building. I was right there with him. He squeezed my hand.
I held his hand until he passed on. My fiance and I were just saying a
prayer to Marten and just getting one last glimpse of everything around
here. Just to say goodbye to him."

Martenīs death has hit the community hard and his funeral was attended by
many people who never met him, but have been saddened and angered by his
senseless death.

Hernandez who has no less than 12 aliases and two dates of birth, has been
arrested 19 times since 2003. The Colorado Bureau of Investigation has also,
confirmed that Hernandez has been arrested by nine different police
departments. Despite his lengthy arrest record and illegal status in this
country, Hernandez has never been deported nor have deportation proceedings
ever been started against him.

The police report shows that after Hernandez ran from the scene and phoned
his girlfriend, Brenda Aleman, asking her to come pick him up at a local
Hooterīs restaurant. A court document reads: "(He) stated after the accident
he was scared and fled the scene, he was afraid he would be taken to jail
because he had no insurance, no driver's license and that would prevent him
from seeing his kids."

Hernandez and Aleman have an infant and a 2-year-old

Santa Rosa man charged in hit-run death of boy, 4

Full story: www.sfgate.com

Sonoma County prosecutors filed charges Monday against an allegedly unlicensed driver who authorities say ran over a 4-year-old boy in a Santa Rosa crosswalk and sped off.

Marcos Lopez Garcia, 22, was charged in Superior Court with felony hit-and-run as well as two misdemeanors, vehicular manslaughter and driving without a valid license. He made an initial court appearance Monday but did not enter a plea.

Garcia, who is being held without bail because federal officials suspect him of being an illegal immigrant, has two previous arrests for driving without a license, records show. Five days before Thursday's crash, police said, he was told not to drive until a court appearance in October.

It is either the Cricket posting volumes of cut and paste laws that dont apply or Corn Dog with his mantra.

At some point the adults should demand a place to opine without the children's distractions.

Has anyone counted the times Corn Dog has felt the need to say this exact same thing over and over? Is it 25 yet?

We know your opinion Corn Dog. Saying it over and over again wont make it real. Nor wil it change the minds of people that don't agree with you. So there is very little reason to keep repeating yourself unless it makes you happy or you are mentally unable to stop.

In which case carry on.

Fellow American, do you want real change?. Join the Tea Party. Let's work together to place in Washington a true leader, that will stand for our Constitution, our Sovereignty and our immigration laws. Let's stop this invasion of illegal aliens that are taken our jobs and destroying our country. This overwhelming debt is the result of expending money we don't have. Obama, the Democrats and the Republicans that betray us must go. they are a disgrace to our country and to the people that voted for them.
In New Mexico voting registration fraud is rampant, Democrats are the ones that are promoting the electoral fraud.

What ever happened to the Constitution?

I'll post it as long as:
- it's relevent
- as long as it takes for you and your ilk to understand
- as long as it takes for the vermin in our legislature to recognize they are wrong in allowing it
- and perhaps another time or two just to annoy you<G>!

Vote out of office in 2012, these vermin are the NM legislators who are filing suit against Governor Martinez to have the 10,000 residency checks declared illegal and halted:

- Miguel Garcia (D-Abq) sponsor of the original legislation that allowed ILLEGALS to obtain NM DLs
- Howie Morales (D-Silver City)
- Gerald Ortiz y Pino (D- Abq)
- Elisio Alcón (D-Milan)

And of course:
Vote NOBAMA in 2012 and let's commence the LONG road to recovery!

ILLEGALS should NOT have NM drivers licenses!

Here ILLEGALLY, GTH out!
Don't reward criminals with Amnesty!
NO AMNESTY - EVER!!!!!

OK I'm going to get bashed for this and attacked by Santa Fe gay because she will disagree because she is a racist.

Lets all settle down and think this one out carefully and solve this in a way that best protects everyone involved, OK ?

OK we need to assume no matter how hard we try, there is no way in the world we will be able to stop all illegals from coming into the USA and we can not stop them from driving even if we took their driver license away, so why not just allow them to get a license so they can prove they have insurance so that innocent Americans that are victims of these illegals are not protected ? and if they get their license suspended or lose their insurance , they can be tracked easier and deported.

Just a thought and I don't have all the answers.

Having a driver's license legitimizes an ILLEGAL ALIENS presence in this country. It's also aiding and abetting them to come to or remain in this country which is a federal felony.
