For a totally beginner in snowboard who is not able to take the lift only the roller carpet.
What is the best place or ski area for learn snowboard in New Mexico ? What is the less expensive one ?
For example I don't like the Santa Fe ski area. Why ? Because the beginner area where the is the carpet is full of people, dangerous and super small. Also because they make you paid $33 for this. The beginner area where there is the carpet is 1% of the ski domain. The total daily pass is $66.$33 for a use of 1% of the ski domain that not fair !

Try Ski-Apache, I don't know how much snow they have yet (if any). If you are learning I would spend no more than half a day on the bunny hills. You should be able to start learning how to get on and off the lift by then. Ski Apache has a lot of green runs. Ruidoso, NM is also fun to visit and has a lot to offer.
