Youngest Students Need Flu Shots In New Jersey

A new law in New Jersey requires young children get vaccinated against the flu before starting school this year.

Flu shots for children must be outlawed. It's a fact that the vaccine contains high levels of mercury which can cause numerous problems in the young. There are huge potential side effects but the medical community refuses to acknowledge the truth about the hazards. Parents need to stand up for their children and refuse to have them unnecessarily vaccinated. Did you know that by the time a child reaches the age of 5 or 6 years, they've already had to endure at least 60 different vaccinations? These vaccines have already been linked to Autism and other childhood illnesses. Please educate yourself before you allow our government and our health organizations to mandate what your babies and children must have. Protect your children and just say no!

I'm kinda mixed on the vaccination issue. I am fully abreast of the numbers of chemicals in vaccinations (my chiropractor distributes flyers), but personally, I'd rather my kid get a little vaccination than suffer with the flu or mumps or measles. I know I know, I would probably think differently if I actually had kids.

NJ has the highest rate of autism in the nation. That being said i find it hard pressed to find an actual link between vaccines and autism. Besides that, i'd rather have a healthy, ALIVE, autistic child than a dead one- espeically from something as "simple" as the flu. I'm not that old, the amount vaccines I received as a child are the same as the ones my son receives (With the exception of the mandatory flu shot- and no, i'm not 12..) I'm a nursing student and am in and out of clinicals every week, God forbid I bring something home that my child is suceptible to and hasn't been vaccinated against..

As the mother of a child who regressed into autism, I find it difficult to read your quote. Certainly you are not suggesting that I want my child to die because I want him to remain safe from further vaccine regression. I believe it is well documented the risks of Thimerasol to the developing brain. The EPA just offically posted warnings against dental amalgams in small children and pregnant women. They did this because of the risk of mercury on the developing brain. I ask, if it isn't safe to drill into our teeth, why would we inject it into our bodies, if we know this? I am not against keeping society safe. I "for the record" am pro-safe vaccines. I am against the government making these kind of decisions for Americans. I'm with you Ginger. My son regressed after the 16 month set of 7 doses of vaccine. He was in a ambulance headed to the ER with a reaction and regressed a few months later into Autism. "Mother of a Toddler" is totally wrong! A child born today stands to receive 55 doses of vaccine before the age of 6. I would suggest she 'follow the money trail'. Big drug companies just built the new headquarters building for the AMA. But I guess that does not weigh into any decesion making now does it? I cannot stand ignorance. I know there is a genetic factor that makes 'some' children suceptiable to vaccine injury, she better hope the gene does not mutate in one of her children.

Get the facts straight before you post. A child born today stands to receive 55 doses before the age of six. A child born 4 short years ago, would have received 36 doses. I received 8 and my teenagers received 12 and 17. It has been growing and growing every year increasing at the exact same rate as Autism, but, maybe you were born yesterday?

I agree I've only had about 6-8 shots in my whole life at 26 yrs old and never had a flu shot. Also I've never caught the flu ever!

No, the amount you received is NOT the same. The amount kids get now isn't even the same as when my son was born 3 years ago - then he would have needed 25 shots, now kids need 36. In the 80's we needed less than half that.

I'm not sure where you're getting these numbers from. What age range are you talking about? The only differences I can gather from what you're saying is: 1) they've broken up the dosing schedule differently over the years and 2) the introduction of new vaccines like the meningitis vaccine and the newly mandatory flu shot. "They" haven't developed a million new vaccines to inject people with, it's basically all of the same disease prevention, with the exception of the aforementioned diseases. I'm not ignorant, and I'm not suggesting that people WANT their child to die. You may think that information is "hiding (from me) in a book" but I digress, I'm not about to make this post any longer than it already is..

I am sickened at the fact that our government thinks they have the final decision for my child. I am extremely tired of our peds and doctors who will not step out of the box about the detrimental side effects of thimerasol aluminum ether formaldehyde aborted fetus cell etc..in vaccines.Yet mind you they tell us easy on the tuna no mercury fillings dont drink out of aluminum cans no more mercury themometers baby products may contain metal be warned. Its almost comical, i said ALMOST because yet we have to inject these ingredients in vulnerable developing brains and bodies of newborns and children.. Bottom line it does not take a rocket scientist to figure out these toxins can harm the first time our precious babies are assaulted with vaccination. I can only speak for myself but I will continue to spread the word . Please for your babies vaccinate if you want but vaccinate with facts and education.
