Movie review: Outrage -- 4 out of 5 stars

Idaho Congressman Larry Craig stands in front of the microphones and declared that despite being caught soliciting a cop for sex in a men's room, despite lovers telling their stories of him to the press, that he is not gay.

Dick's charge that there is a mainstream conspiracy is not necessarily poppycock. Asking a closeted politician if they are gay is hardly an investigation as to whether they really are gay. The press simply refuses to follow up on allegations by checking outside sources. Why?

So don't be bashing and in the closet at the same time.

If you are closeted this is fine by me. I am sure lots of folks stay there for lots of leglitmate reasons of which I am no one to criticize. To each his own.

But don't be stupid and call gay phone sex lines, toe tap in airport restrooms, solicit sex from same sex Congressional pages (under age is even more despicable) an expect people to believe a word you say once all the facts come out.

Perfect example of this hypocrisy IMO...it blows my mind that that Haggard guy is still in the public eye. Especially after receiving what he claims to be a "cure".

Most homophobes are gay, at least half of all politicians are gay/bi/gay-for-pay, and almost all of them are huge hypocrites. I already knew all of this, but a movie about it showing everyone how true those facts are cant hurt.
