NH Zoo Exotic Animals???

Does anyone remember a strange zoo in southern NH that existed in what seemed like someone's backyard? It was less than ten years ago and I remember they had elephant rides there as well as very exotic animals in cages like leapords, hyenas, alligators, camels, etc. I tell people about it and everyone thinks I'm crazy. I have pictures to prove I'm not crazy but can't remember the name of the place or what town it was in. All I can remember it was very bizarre and I highly doubt it was in operation for very long.

is it this one? EXCITING WILD ANIMALS— Open Wed.-Sun. 10am-5pm April 1st to November 1st. After July open daily 10am-5pm until Sept.3. See them now at www.greenvillewildlifepark.com - I visited there about 5 years or so ago and my family and i really liked it, but we heard that the next year they closed it down!

Hi, Was it Benson's Animal Farm in Hudson NH? It has closed down now. I think these places have a hard time keeping open since they are not state funded. I know that Yorks Wild Kingdom in York ME has had to cut back on thier hours. If you are looking for something close. I'd try York's Zoo. They are probably only over an hour for you. But they do not open until the end of May now. Good Luck!

As well as farm animals, they have black bears, carrabu, buffalo, wolves, Porkypines, mountain lions, bobcats, camel, etc... Mostly animals native to NH with some extras.
