I Love Nebraska!!!!

I know obviously not everyone does, but that's alright. I love my small town, everyone knows everyone atmosphere. People will stop to help you change a tire or do just about anything to help someone out. They might not even now the person they are helping and they don't expect anything in return. Now if that sucks your crazy. Life is what you make of it. If you don't like where you are do something about it instead of complaining, which doesn't get you anywhere. I hope we can make this I Love Nebraska discussion as popular as it seems the Nebraska Sucks has become. Cheers to Nebraska!!!

I love Nebraska too. Everything that mawhite said is SO true. The weather can be crazy...but at least we don't have hurricanes which wipe out so much all at once. The worst we have is snow and the occasional tornado...but tornadoes are so much easier to deal with than hurricanes.

YOU KNOW I LOVE BIG CITIES BUT WHEN I MOVED TO ONE OF THE SMALLEST TOWNS THAT I HAD EVER LIVED IN I WILL ADMIDT THAT I NERVOUS BUT A FRIEND THAT I HAD WORKED WITH TOLD ME THAT THIS WILL BE A MOVE THAT I WOULD NEVER REGRET AND YOU KNOW WHAT HE WAS RIGHT IT IS A GREAT PLACE FOR FAMILY AND I APPRICATE THE LITTLE THINGS MORE LIKE WHEN MY KIDS ARE PLAYING OUT SIDE AND HOW MUCH STRANGERS ARE WILLING TO HELP YOU OUT EVEN THOUGH THEY DONT KNOW YOU THERE WILLING TO HELP OUT SO I WILL ADMIT THAT NEBRASKA RAWKS AND I HOPE TO REST MY HEAD IN NEBRASKA SOIL SOME DAY

You know that is so true. When your kids are playing outside in a small community you don't have to watch their every move. In a big city you never know who will come around the corner and swipe them up or worse. Small towns if there is a strange car or anything out of the ordinary people take notice. I love my small town the kids play outside and I don't worry like I did when I lived in a bigger town. I wouldn't let the kids out of my site. :-)

Just one more reason I love Nebraska. We got home from work last night and the neighbors were outside being such a nice day. My other half decided he was going to cut down some of our trees and branches that the ice storm last year took a tole on. So, the one set of neighbors started to help and the other brought out his loader to help move branches and give my other half a better reach on the high branches. Is there anywhere else where you go have your neighbors drop everything to come out and help you with your projects and not want anything in return. Oh How I LOVE Nebraska.

I love visiting my mother in Nebraska city, Im from white cloud And would not have a problem living there.

That is pretty country down there. Lots of trees and some of the best apples come from there. Thank you for sharing.

Most people in Nebraska do have great hearts. They open them up to just about anybody and will do just about anything for you. My neighbors fit right in that category. I couldn't ask for better.

One more nice thing about Nebraska when you don't feel good your neighbors don't take it personal they just let you be. Some places they wouldn't care they would make all kinds of noise so you couldn't get the rest you need. Have a great day everyone.

If you love wildlife this is one of the best states for it. I drive to work everyday and on the 45 min drive I get to see deer turkeys all sorts of wildlife. How gorgeous gods work is.
