The 'employment' problem could be addressed by making it mandatory for ALL employers to use E-Verify. And that in turn should have an effect on the number of illegals trying to rent houses and apartments. No jobs, no money. And I don't believe the federal government could fight the use of E-Verify.

Yes e-verify, 287g and anything else to make it inhospitable for illegals to set up shop. There is no reason to provide services in other languages to illegals.

We have to defend ourselves if the fed's won't.

Pedro Espinoza, an alleged gang member who was in the country illegally

Jamiel Shaw a Los Angeles High School football player, was shot and killed in March 2008, allegedly by Pedro Espinoza, an alleged gang member who was in the country illegally
According to the lawsuit brought by his parents Jamiel and Anita, deputies negligently released Espinoza from jail on March 1, 2008, despite knowing he was "a dangerous felon and an immigration violator."
Espinoza, a gang member, is accused of killing 17-year-old Jamiel Shaw II, a standout running back, after getting out of
jail. Since 1979, the Los Angeles Police Department has operated under Special Order 40, which prevents officers from initiating contact with suspects for the sole purpose of inquiring about their immigration status.
The policy was implemented so undocumented residents could report crimes and cooperate with police without fear of being deported.

Mwenda Murithi, an illegal alien from Kenya

was a leader in the Imperial Gangsters arrested 27 times murded 13 year old Schanna Gayden.
The charges weren't horrible -- mostly possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana, obstruction of traffic, drinking alcohol on a public way and other offenses commonly associated with the career of drug-dealing gang-bangers. Police said four of the charges were felonies; the Cook County state's attorney's office said Murithi had two misdemeanor convictions, one of which resulted in 30 days in jail this spring.
But still. It's disquieting that anyone with that kind of track record for trouble spent so little time behind bars. And it's outrageous that Murithi was still in the United States June 25, more than four years after he became an illegal immigrant and began racking up arrests.

Hector Salinas, 38 illegal alien from Mexico

BELLINGHAM, Wash.- An illegal Mexican immigrant will be sentenced in Whatcom County for the rape of a homeless woman. But what makes this case even more troubling is that this man has a history of crime in the U.S. and has been deported multiple times.

That is fine and good, but if you look at Arizona, where that is already in effect, the state itself has not enforced it. Why would it be any different in Nebraska??? Arizona already has the E verify in law there, but do not themselves enforce it??? They wonder why they are in the situation they are in????

Is that true or is it just Arizona State operations that are required to use E-Verify?

Yes it's true!!! Less than 15% of companies use it??? It is all a ploy to get her reelected as she has the power to enforce E verify. What people all around the country need to understand is that she was polling 30%. Untill she brought the immigration law out to save herself. Why leave it to a re election year to pull it out of her hat?? People need to wake up. She is another Mcain.
