Well they wont be here long. Iron County is so over hunted. People here have no control and will shoot anything that moves whether it is in season or not. I'm surprised anything is still alive here.

Not sure where you heard this or who said it but please tell me you're not taking such garbage to heart. You can't go to the diner and walk out feeling like you've watched the news or researched conservation.

Things are alive there because you mile long tales and exaggeration do not change facts. You can stretch truths and create drama all day long but it will not change a thing. Let's see you engage in such activities on multiple occasions and see if you're not caught up quick.

That is great, do you know what the word Panther means? it DOES NOT mean black. Thus it is possible that many years ago there WERE panthers, also known as Mountain lions, or Cougars. But the black cats you refer to do not exist, HAVE NEVER in the history of this country been photographed, NOR killed and verified, so how do you explain that? NOT ONCE….EVER?

A black panther is typically a melanistic color variant of any of several species of larger cat. In the Americas, wild 'black panthers' may be black jaguars (Panthera onca), while in Asia and Africa, black leopards (Panthera pardus); in Asia, possibly the very rare black tigers (Panthera tigris). Smaller wild cats, like jaguarundi, may also be black.

Captive black panthers may be black jaguars, or more commonly black leopards.

Exactly, and none of these species is native to NORTH America. I suppose a Black incarnation of a Mountain Lion is Possible, or a Bobcat, but still it is Mountain Lion or Bobcat, not a separate species, not larger, not meaner, in fact it would most likely be a bit weaker much like an albino is.

Next to highway by the guard rail going down the hill from cindys towards centerville. We have also had one run in front of us on the back road outside reynolds on our quad

That is about where I had seen the dead deer last week. Not good so close to town.
