Trans Man Set To Give Evidence On ENDA In Senate Committee

There are 3 comments on the lezgetreal.com story from Jun 9, 2012, titled Trans Man Set To Give Evidence On ENDA In Senate Committee. In it, lezgetreal.com reports that:

Let us be honest, the Employment Non-Discrimination Act is likely to never pass the House of Representatives so long as the Republicans are in control; however, the Senate is still going to hold hearings on the act, and, for the first time, a trans person is set to give evidence in one of the hearings.

Employment discrimination is already against the law. We don't need more laws on the books, we just need to enforce the ones that are already there.

This is nothing more than a cheap political stunt by the Senate Democrats who should get off their lazy asses and pass a damn budget. Then they should bring up for a vote the dozen jobs bills that have already passed the House and are sitting on Harry Reid's desk.

There is NO chance that the House will even consider this.

Since The Obamaniac Regime came to power, the Democratic-controlled Senate has refused to pass a budget, even with a Democratic POTUS, and a Democratically controlled House during the ENTIRE FIRST HALF of The Obamaniac Regime. Why don't they first pass a national budget for a change LIKE THEY ARE SUPOSED TO DO ???
