I am a rep. and I think Nixon has dond a good job. The tea party needs to go.
#3 Nov 9, 2012
What is it about the tea party that needs to go? You don't like a federal government limited in size, power and scope? You don't think cutting spending to balance the budget is a good idea? You don't think Obamacare should be repealed? You don't think we're already paying far too much in taxes?
And you claim to be a Republican? Yeah, right.
#4 Nov 9, 2012
We didn't have all the BS thats going on in the party now. Look where Palin got you nowhere.
#5 Nov 9, 2012
Why? Specific examples, please. "Because he's a Democrat" doesn't count.
#6 Nov 9, 2012
Yes, and it is.
Yes, but without tanking the economy.
I think some are paying far to much, just not the same people as the tea baggers.
Now let's talk about all the things tea baggers really stand for, and use the government and the economy as an excuse.
Christian initiatives to turn our government into a theocracy. NO!
Force women to have rape babies! NO!
Viagra free for all men, birth control expensive or unavailable for women? NO!
Leave people to die, send people to die, let people starve to death? NO!
Let government decide who an adult can get married to? NO!
Let states fend for themselves in disasters? NO!
Cut police, teachers, fire fighters, first responders? NO!
No repairs to infrastructure? NO!
The tea party doesn't want to protect anyone's freedoms, they only want to allow the government to force their views on everyone else! How is that smaller government?
The original tea party was protesting big businesses abuses of the people! Unfair and unequal taxation!
The new tea party is funded by the Koch brothers and other big businesses! It's nothing close to a grass roots movement! And they believe in nothing, if not unequal and lopsided tax policies, favoring the few over the many!
#7 Nov 9, 2012
It sounds like guest is smoking grass and living off the government. Sad socialist liberal.
#8 Nov 9, 2012
Im sure everybody that disagrees with you and the little tea party has to be smoking weed and living off the goverment. The party's over tea partier so get over yourself and deal with it.Im Jake Anderson and I approve this message!!!
#9 Nov 9, 2012
Jake Anderson is a grandmas boy.
#10 Nov 9, 2012
Are you going to answer my question or keep ignoring me? Why is it bad that voters re-elected Jay Nixon?
#11 Nov 9, 2012
The other person smokes weed and im a grandmas boy.Once again you show signs of low self esteem and ignorance but that's a tea partier for ya.You should consider calling 1-800-I-Am-Stupid to get the help you need. With hard work and dedication you might be not so stupid in no time.Just think how nice it would be to walk into a room and have people say something besides here comes that stupid tea partier.Your family and friends will no longer be ashamed to be around you and they can say with pride wow tea partier you don't seem near as stupid as you did before.Make the call now and get started on being not so stupid. If you don't want to get smart for yourself at least do it for your country.Good luck to you on not being so stupid.
#12 Nov 10, 2012
You dodged every question like a coward.
As far as Palin goes, she and McCain garnered 3 million more Republican votes than Romney / Ryan.
Besides, I'd take her a heart beat away from the presidency over crazy uncle Joe Biden every day of the week.
Back to the Tea Party. Anyone who claims to be a Republican yet opposes the principles of smaller government, lower taxes and less government spending - what the Tea Party stands on - is only a poser. Go join the Democrats with all the other libtards and stop claiming to be part of the GOP.
#13 Nov 10, 2012
You think the government is limited in size, power and scope??? Listen dopey, put down that crack pipe and take a good dose of reality.
Government overspending and excessive taxation are the root cause of our failing economy! Cutting them will not tank the economy. Continuing to dive over the fiscal cliff, which is the Democrats plan, certainly will.
The majority of the people do not want Obamacare because were smart enough to see that it will very quickly bankrupt our nation. And you said earlier we should cut government spending, yet now you indicate your support for the largest spending program in our nations history.
Like a typical libtard you suffer from extreme cognitive dissonance.
So who do you think is not paying too much federal income tax? The bottom 47% arent paying any. The top 25% are paying 88%. Everyone else is paying the other 12%.
You libtards think paying 88% is not enough and want the top 25% to pay even more. Why? Are you jealous of their success?
Bullshit. The Tea Party has no such plan. Its all based on fiscal conservatism and shrinking the government.
Bullshit. The Tea Party has no such platform. Besides, they cant overturn Roe v Wade even if they wanted to. Only the Supreme Court can do that.
Bullshit. The Tea Party has no such platform. Besides, Viagra is not free for anyone, nor is birth control for women expensive or unavailable. Listen dopey, go to the pharmacy section of Walmart and see how much a package of condoms cost. Cheap and readily available. The only debate is whether people (men and women) should pay for their own contraceptives or whether the heavy hand of government should force someone else to pay for them.
Bullshit. The Tea Party has no such platform. Conservatives contribute far more to charitable organizations than do liberals. Thats a fact. Liberals claim they care, but they want to use other peoples money instead of donating their own like conservatives do.
Bullshit. The Tea Party has no such platform. Marriage is controlled by state law, not the federal government. The people of most states dont recognize gay marriage. Thats the will of the people, not anything to do with the Tea Party.
Bullshit. While FEMA may be grossly inefficient and ineffective, the Tea Party has no such plan to abolish it.
Bullshit. The Tea Party has no such platform. Police, teachers, fire fighters and first responders are all under control of state and local governments. Neither the federal government nor the Tea Party has any power over any of that.
Bullshit. The Tea Party has never stated an intention to abolish the Department of Transportation.

Is this someone that thought all the legitimate polls were biased and Romney actually had a shot at this election. Telling others to live in reality.
Government, especially the administrative branch is limited in size and scope. It may not be limited as much as you would like, but it is indeed limited. That's reality.
Saying "Bullshit", that something is not a tea party platform, and then closing your eyes and ears to what tea party supported candidates say and do, is inane. You can't distance yourself that far from the facts. Can you?
One other touch, donating to your church, is not the same as donating to anything useful. Most churches only turn a very small portion of their donations over to helping anyone but their members, by building Rec centers, buying nicer busses etc.
The Mormon church is one of the worst, donated .7% of its tithing income in the last 25 years, while spending billions on building temples.
I've seen those studies that say conservatives donate more, and all of them consider tithing, and take into account things like the 15 million Romney gave to the LDS church which he has been slowly drawing back trough am old tax loophole.
All you people have is spin.
Facts have been beyond you're party for years! Blame your political thrashing on whatever makes you feel better, but tea party candidates proved this election, that they are going nowhere but to the marginalized zone.
If you believe the rest of what you say, I hope the best for you for next four years as your beleifs are tested daily.
The fed helps fund many of the programs that are state controlled. So
Irregardless of "control" federal funding plays a major role in their effectiveness.

Ahh... I think I've discovered the problem, there is some confusion, you don't know that the name of the organization your supporting is the "tea party express" not the general tea party movement.
Tea Party Express isn't something I disagree with, don't really care one way or the other.
But it does not represent the full movement known as the Tea party.
It is a very small portion of a much larger group, but they do their own fundraising.
They do give to crazy conservatives, many that are unelectable, or have very limited political futures, money. But they stay out of the social issues.
Remember to clarify in the future, you are a "tea party express" supporter. Not a tea partier in general.
Glad we cleared that up.
Either way, sorry for the resounding dismissal of your candidates and their beliefs last Tuesday. Keep trying, it's nice for us libs to be able to pick up seats so easy. If you keep going strong in the GOP, we should have the House,
Senate, and of course, still the Presidency in 2014.
Not to mention some retiring judges of the SCOTUS, so we'll be haunting you guys for years to come. Lol!
#17 Nov 10, 2012
So, since you seem to support all those items you mentioned, were you a Ron Paul supporter?
#18 Nov 10, 2012
There is no such thing as an "administrative branch" of our government you dipshit. Did you flunk your 7th grade civics class or were you already on the pipe and just don't remember? Dumbass.
Saying bullshit to the false claims you made is the best description for them. You see, retarded liberal idiots like you mindlessly swallow the bullshit the wackos in DC feed you. You're too damn stupid to know it's bullshit and you're too damn lazy to check the facts for yourself. So, you just slurp it right up, then you come into topix and puke that nasty shit up here and expect those of us who have a clue believe it.
Guess what numbnuts, we're not nearly as stupid as you are, and we know what's true and what is bullshit. Everything you claimed were things the Tea Party stands for is nothing but 100% bullshit. It has no basis in fact or reality.
Church has nothing to do with this discussion. You're just trying to switch topics because I spanked your ass so bad.
We all have seen those studies, and it's true. Conservatives are far more compassionate and caring, and they prove it by donating their own time and money.
Libtards like you claim to care, but you never put your money where your mouth is. What you like to do is use the power of government to forcibly take property away from wealthy people so you can use it to fund your pet projects. That gives you that warm and fuzzy feeling inside, plus you don't have to sacrifice anything. All of your money stays in your pocket.
I don't spin anything. I post facts. And because I've done my homework, I know what the facts are and can easily spot the liberal bullshit that you're spewing.
But they get that funding by taking it away from the people in the states. They collect a dollar, then give back 50 cents. It's a bad deal for the states and Americans, but it's a good deal for friends of liberals, like the UAW, Solyndra, Goldman Sachs, Brazilian oil companies, Finland Fisker auto makers, and Chinese Jeep manufacturers.
It's much for efficient and effective to leave the money at the local level to begin with, rather than siphoning off huge portions and returning only a fraction. Of course Michelle would have to stop taking all of her friends on exotic vacations all around the world on the taxpayers dime, and men in Africa would have to pay for their own Penis Washing program, if they really wanted one.
Just keep talking you dumbass. Every word you post only shows the depths of your stupidity.
#19 Nov 10, 2012
I voted for Ron Paul way back in 1988 when he ran as a Libertarian. Regarding fiscal policy, he's right on the money (no pun intended).
#20 Nov 10, 2012
That's all you have? You have been relegated to the sidelines, and that's what you have us name calling? The mainstream will control this country again. Even much of the GOP is ready to kick you to the curb. They are blaming people like you! Lmao!
Please start another third party, please take votes from the Repubs! You extremists are making it so easy.
Big thank you for helping to get Obama another four years, increasing our seats in the senate, and reducing the repub majority in the house!
At this pace our country will be in the firm control of us democrats come 2014. You can whine, sob, cry, spew drivel, think your ideas are better than ours, and maybe they are, but you know what, those ideas, and you will matter even less then than you do now.
You've gone from first string, to bench warmer, and I don't see us needing to go to the bench anytime soon.
Oh yeah, most likely we'll have a much more liberal SCOTUS too!
So keep going! Because your thoughts are not in the majority, and your political weight is just more of an anchor than anything of substance or power.
Your rape running candidates, among many others blew your credibility, all we had to do was watch the implosion.
It was glorious!
