No way that Missouri should ban texting while driving. It's the only means of population control left open to us in an active way. In fact I think that all teapartiers should be required to text while driving, particularly on the curvy roads in the Ozarks.

Isn't there already a law that prohibits inattentive driving? Why then do we need a myriad of new laws specifying any number of activities that draw a driver's attention away from operating a motor vehicle?
Let's enforce the laws already on the books instead of enacting more.
