This strike had nothing to do with more money, benefits and no accountability. The unions have proven many times over that the more the teacher gets paid the smarter the sutdents become. We did it for the poor children, they are the winners in this. Only a racist or someone who hates children would disagree.

This IS what is WRONG with education today:

This is a video of the Chicago Teachers' Union President, Karen Lewis speaking at a Social Justice Conference

Listen to what she has to say and how she degrades others and jokes about smoking weed.

This is who teachers want to represent them?
This is who teachers send their monthly dues to?

It is disgusting.

Ms Lewis mocks, makes fun of Arne Duncan's lisp. Just imagine if it was your child, your grandchild who had a speech problem and this was your child's teacher!

If you were president, the 9/11 anniversary was approaching, there are ambassadors in UNstable Middle East countries

wouldn't YOU, in good conscience THINK to INCREASE protection for the ambassadors and the embassies in those Middle East countries?!?!??!

that is just good common sense!

And now, what does Obama do: he blames others-some unknown film maker is at fault.

NO! that is not true, it's the FAILURE of Obama to BEEF UP PROTECTION during this anniversary in these UNstable countries!

And there is no excuse to give a full secret service contingent to a WH adivor in the USA-Valerie Jarrett- she has 6 Secret Service agents with her on vacation to Martha's Vineyard.

That's ridiculous and another example of flawed decision making by Obama.

What are Obama's priorities. It should be with those IN these unstable countries!
