Like how the gays (and their media friends) always take the opportunity to insult gay marriage opponents by mentioning that they hail from low, uneducated communities. As if a third grader couldn't figure out right from wrong. I personally have a college degree (and am incredibly close to having two). Those dumb, uneducated types must be smarter than us.

Try to bring up the article on opposition to gay marriage on the internet. Can't do it. Those gays sure know how to cover their tracks quickly. And of course, this could only be accompl;ished with the aid of the media. Can you spell P-I-O-N-E-E-R P-R-E-S-S?!?!?!?!?!

Dear, the demographics of the opposition to same sex marriage are the demographics, no one is making up the reality of who most of these folk actually are. Just because you have a better education than most of your peers doesn't change who makes up the rest of your group. Opposition to equality is more popular among the rural than the urban, among the less well off than the middle and upper classes, among those with a high school education or less than those college educated. Sorry. I don't know what your opposition is to equal rights for others and don't really care, you have a right to your opinion, but we have a right to our rights.

Kansas?!?! Wow! Must have touched a nerve. It's well known that the colleges across the country are significantly liberal. So it only stands to reason that college graduates would become liberal. After all, a college grad is still relatively young. Don't blame it on a lack of education. The high school graduates of today are liberal also. Call it brainwashing our youth. It's an old trick that Hitler used quite well. Yes, ignorance and naievite are ageless. Now let's get to the real heart of the matter. Tell me you're not gay. Go ahead, say it. "I am not gay." Yea, right.E who="Rick in Kansas"]Dear, the demographics of the opposition to same sex marriage are the demographics, no one is making up the reality of who most of these folk actually are. Why would a couple that already has a wedding license and is already legally married go to the most conservative county in the state to file for another wedding license? Because they are both originally from Pipestone? If you believe that I have some land to sell you. It's real low, real wet, and real expensive. It's because they are troublemakers. Just like too many of their other gay friends.

You're on multiple forums at once, don't flatter yourself.

Congratulations on knowing an inaccurate statement. There have always been many colleges and universities in this country that are significantly conservative. Big ones with many graduates too. It all depends where you go.
gabe wrote:

Reasoning deduced from an inaccurate fact, conclusion flawed.
gabe wrote:

Most are, always have been significant numbers who aren't.
gabe wrote:

I've met very well educated folk who proved themselves to be complete idiots.
gabe wrote:

You are the one who knows things as fact that are far from accurate and yet they are the ones who have been brainwashed?
gabe wrote:

I call a Godwin. A quick history lesson. Those methods of indoctrinating youth into the movement through the schools wasn't something that the Nazis came up with, they borrowed them, along with most of the lesson plans, from the United States. You may not have heard about the American Eugenics movement, it was quite influential for about 50 years from about the last quarter of the 19th to the late 1920's. We went to some seriously ugly places in "education" long before the Nazis ever thought of it.

So, you do have a point?

I'm gay??? OMG! Thanks for telling me, I never would have known except for your prescience. You said you were about to make a point, telling me something I already knew, not one. Sorry.

You have one degree, and working on a second, and you don't know how to bring up the article? I suggest you check that again and look for a blocker in your software. There should be a warning window, probably at the bottom of your screen, and an option to allow the page. I certainly hope neither of your degrees are in computer science.

It's true Gabe, anywhere normal people live there will be opposition to gay marriage.

You have made very few statements that are based on fact. I don't need a history lesson nor does anyone else. And to say the Nazi's borrowed their propaganda and brainwashing techniques from the United States is ludicous. And now u are going to tell people how many blogs they can join? And boy aren't u smart. Must be college educated. But do you know where to put your penis? Gays are some of the most intolerant , mean, and suppressive people I have met. And I'met many . Can't handle it when people disagree with them. I have never impressed my sexual lifestyle on anyone. The gays need to quit impressing theirs on us. And don't try to tell us they are not causing a lot of trouble across our country. That fact is obvious and too easy to back up . By the way, that land is still for sale. And u didn't answer my question. Answering a question with a question is rude. I'm sure u took a grammar class in your day, after all you sound so smart and educated. And don't try to convince us that this fight for rights and equality(?) Has anything to do with love. It has to do with money. There is a saying that bull**** walks. Put your walking shoes on. And don't bother responding to this . I'll be leaving this forum. Then I won't have to read anymore of your propoganda and slanted logic. Wrong is wrong and no words will make sodomy right. Not even yours.

There was no warning window, nor any option to to allow the page. There was no blocker in the software and if there was we would have been notified, as u should well know. It was not my computer and none of the librarians could bring it up either. Your insulting opening statement is unfounded and baseless. I will not return the favor. And by the way, one of the majors was in science which I taught for 13 years, along with mathematics. I am fairly computer literate and have many computer experts for resources including my father-in-law, who happens to be the head of the computer science department (and the mathematics dept.). But thanks for the help. I could sense (like everyone else) that your offer was GENUINE and filled with concern and kindness.

You're pretty much a lost cause of ignorance buttercup, the only thing I am trying to convince you of is that you don't have a clue.

What about YOUR sodomy dear? You do know what that word actually covers don't you. Evidently not, or you wouldn't have said something that idiotic.

Bye-bye bunny.

My offer was indeed genuine, but hardly filled with concern and kindness. I couldn't care less about you and your computer problems.
