Robert Nudie Mims, 69, notorious killer, dies in prison

Robert "Nudie" Mims, 69, a founding member of the Philadelphia Black Mafia serving life in prison for a notorious 1971 robbery and murder, died Monday, July 9, at the Minnesota Correctional Facility-Faribault, said Sarah Berg, spokeswoman for that state's Department of Corrections.

What an absolute sociopathic terror of society. I hope he rots in Hell! He tried to extort my grandfather's West Philly business back in the late 60's but my Pop-pop didn't scare easily. At Graterford prison he was nothing less than a sadistic psycho leading a group of mindless "FOI" goons who were basically down low freaks raping every young boy they could get their hands on to control the prison population. He couldn't be a real man if he tried. just a worthless loser.

You judge a man by only his past when that was fourth years ago. He did wrong but god does forgive even the worst of crimes. So as he got older maybe you should look at his new actions. Honestly he changed my life for the better got my mind on god and doing something positive with my life. I don't judge a person by their past when we all have done wrong. All I can say that man truly cared for people and helped many. I owe him a lot for the knowledge he brought to me. Of course it's sad what had happened but I feel he did have many years to become someone different then what you all describe him as. God bless
