Ok Grandholm, get the F over it. You knew when the primaries were held they wouldn't be counted. No more money for new primaries. No one was on the ballot except WITCH Hilary. That's why I didn't vote. I wouldn't vote for her, or you for that matter, for a dog catcher. You don't think you need to follow the rules? You'll just have to wait until Nov. to vote again. Why don't you move back to Canada?

I agree with Mad gramma, Michigan knew going in they were going to lose their delegate votes, but they did it anyway. So sad, too bad.

Screw the Democraps. They brought this one themselves and I think for ONCE it is time to hold them ACCOUNTABLE for their actions. This is what they were told was going to happen and they moved the primary up anyway. I hope none of Michigans delegates get counted and it screws up the whole convention!!!!!!!!!!

If I'm not mistaken, MI's legislature (not simply Gov. G.) made the decision to hold the early primary, but it was the National Democratic Party that made the decision not to let it count. Now that it is clear that neither candidate can win the nomination on the first ballot, they want a revote, rather than allowing the results to stand, with uncomitted delegates making their decisions at the convention. Be angry with the Party, because it wants Michigan's Democrats to vote based on all the information that's come out since their original votes (including the fact that Michigan's votes would have been split among even more candidates, excepting), and so they can have a "unsplit, clear majority" prior to November...and the Party, rest assured, will not pay for it. In no way shape or form should Michigan have to pay for this fiasco.

I predict an uprising of taxpayers if we are forced to pay for another election.
If paid for privately I predict no one will show up to vote except Hillary Clinton and Granholm.
Granholm made a HUGE error of judgment by changing this election in the first place.
Granholm made her move to secure a post in Hillary's cabinet and it backfired.
TOO BAD

This has NOTHING to do with the National Party. They told Michigan what the consequences would be if they moved up the date of the primary. This fault lies solely on the lady with the huge mole. She had the power to vetoe anything coming from the house and senate. Lord knows she vetoed every welfare reform they sent her. She made the ultimate decision and it is time she took responsibility for her screw up!!!!!!!!!

Jenny and the Hildebeast want the "do-over" because without it, there is little chance for the Hildebeast to get the nomination for President. And that matters to Jenny because she won't get her Cabinet position....

You guys are mad about a lot of things but this shouldn't be one of them. Republicans held their election as well against party rules. Go cry yourself to sleep.

As an aside, there were a lot more people on the democratic ballot besides Sen Clinton.

I don't think there should be a do - over because so much has changed/evolved since then. Now it is a two person race and back in January it was an open field. The uncommitted delegates should be allowed to go and cast their votes as they were expected to do back when the primary occurred.

For the record, I did not vote during the primary as it seemed pointless but I can't agree with Michigan not being represented at the conventions (rep and dem).

How about a DO OVER for the gubernatorial election?

I'm in for that and I'd even be willing to pay my share of the expense!

Anyone else?
