Actually it has been a great success for many Mexican politicians, police officers and other cartel employees. In addition to drug profits they also get money from the U.S. to fight the war on drugs.

Vicente Fox is in the U.S. again and he still hasn't learned to keep his mouth shut.

On immigration, Fox said the U.S. should consider policies that give Mexican workers the ability to "make the money, to make this economy competitive, to contribute to the wealth and growth of the economy and to let them go back home, which is what they really want at the very end."

1. He just described the temporary worker visa program written into the current immigration law.
2. He might want to talk to some of his citizens about their desire to return to Mexico. No one is stopping any Mexican citizen from returning to Mexico and they are still here.

"Fox later segued into discussion about "NAFTA Plus," or proposals to retool the North American Free Trade Agreement to keep Canada, the U.S. and Mexico competitive with other dominant world economies."

NAFTA was a disaster for this country and should be repealed, Period. Not expanded, not modified, not extended. Repeal NAFTA.

I am talking about illegal aliens and Mexican drug cartels not immigrants. Mexican drug cartels do supply a large percentage of the drugs that come in to this country and the vast majority of those drugs are used and sold by illegals and others in the Latino community.
Immigrants being for the most part honest and hard working rarely become involved in drugs. In fact the usage of drugs by immigrants tends to be even lower than that of the average American citizen.

Those extra bucks go all the way to the top. That's why there is really NO war on drugs.

What.......there's no war on drugs? Whip a joint out in front of a cop and ask him if he's got a light. Please by all means, respond back and let us know how that worked out for you.

I'm 5 years ahead of you. I also do not shop Walmart and their slave labor. They Treat their empoyees like dirt. They have medical but it is so expensive the work force for the most part have to go on public aid. Also they are paid $7.00 or $8.00/hour.

Well, maybe if the funding that the USA sent them to fight the battle was funneled where it was meant to go, instead of in the polticians' pockets, the battle might have had more positive results!
