The corrections department for Ohio are liars!!!! Plain and simple. Trumbull is one of the worst run Aramark prisons. The inmates feel the supervisors (who used to be prison paid) are getting kickbacks by substituting cheaper foods and ignoring the menus made by dieticians. One example is very little fresh fruit--given applesauce and dried out halves of oranges instead. These supervisors did the same thing when the state paid them. Trumbull probably also rewarded them for ignoring the menus. The inmates also question why they only get one free envelope a month when they used to get four. Those envelopes are bought with profit from overpriced commissary. Trumbull is still booking the same amount of money as they did when they gave four envelopes, where is that extra money going? There are a lot of inmates questioning things that go on there such as open racial preferred treatment. Anyone who complains finds himself a target by the guards. They band together to make life hell for the individual who dares question their unfair biased practices. We haven't found an Ohio prison yet where Aramark serves decent food.

Buy a loaf of bread and tell the prisoner to drink tap water. There, a whole week's worth of food for a fraction of the price.
