Michigan takes another step closer to becoming like New York. The smoking ban will have an affect on businesses. Seems like there are fewer and fewer bowling alleys these days. Bars have lost business too. But let's keep in mind we have to create a healthy environment for the illegal aliens to live, work, and play. We also have a mall which is going to ban smoking even in the parking lot. Most govt buildings at all levels ban smoking on the property. Not just in or in front of the building but anywhere. I think liberalism is a mental disease and we should do the right thing and round them up and increase their taxes four-fold and make them where ankle bracelets for tracking purposes.

This is funny!! On the ride in today I heard on WOOD news that the Smoking Ban legislation is being returned to the House of Reps to be approved after "DRACONIAN" (extremely harsh) changes have been added by the state senate. Let's see they added that the Detroit casinos were not exempt and would have to be smoke free. As I said before let's see if the Detroit Democrates have the guts to do draconian damage to the Detroit casinos.
They'll probably try to add language including the Indian casinos which are on sovereign land and as I read it aren't bound by all our laws passed by these idiots.
PS I bet their little scrotums just tightened right up when they got that back with the Republican changes addressed at their sacred cow.It's easy to run roughshod over the small business owners that don't donate hugh sums to their cofers let's see if they have to stomach to come down on the big spenders in their back yards.

i'm not a smoker but i'm well aware of the amount of money smokers spend in michigan! i think this is a very bad time to be pulling this one out of their @ss! we live in polution...cars, factories, ect. cum on honestly who's willing to give up their cars? or their way of life? i'm not! we're all guilty of polution, and thats a fact!!!
