The educational system that was in place prior to pRick snyder's delusional plutocracy measures destroyed it worked well. Teachers endured provisional hiring for the first couple of years giving ample time to weed out those unsuitable for this extremely demanding and under valued career. His destruction of tenure and the right to be paid slave wages guarantees very few will be interested in this career. Unions are not the enemy, they help everyone. Children are safer when they are in place, and teachers and other school staff members work better as a community when everyone is respected. Families are guaranteed a free public education. Fully fund it, put your money where your mouth is. Everything else is empty rhetoric. The aims of republicons is to steal a free educational system and replace it with an expensive profits based 'privatized' mess that erases the career path of teachers and hurts children. When it comes to republicon schemes, it is best to seek and destroy!
