Building jobs not rebounding in Metro Detroit

I defer to the record keepers for actual numbers. However, I see new building all over Livonia. Projects like Daisy Square in Plymouth are planning to build out in areas that were dormant all through the economic dip. They finally got rid of that hideous wall that remained of the old air rifle plant. Holes are being punched in open lots in Livonia, which are hard to find. Menards, Lowes and Home Depot seem busy.
