Ok so you dont wnat to deal in facts??? Your gonna just tell a bunch of TALL TALE LIES.?????? Sit down let us educated adults talk...<quoted text>
??? you support the Fair tax and you don't even know what it is? It is a sales tax. Whatever you buy, you pay taxes on it immediately. If you go to the store and buy something that costs $10.00 you will pay $3.20 in tax. That is 32% more, but the $3.20 is only 24% of the total of $13.20. Thus the Fair Tax people spin it so they claim you are only paying 24% instead of 32%. So when you buy gas for your car, instead of being $3.00 per gallon, it will be $4.00 per gallon. You can call it 25% if you like, or 33% if you prefer depending how how you calculate it. But for most people, they will simply add 1/3 to the price of everything.
Yes, there are complications such as every person gets a prebate and the Fair Tax people spin that to claim an even lower rate. But the bottom line still stands. Also there is a significant debate as to whether the 32% is high enough. There is an expectation that the actual number will go much higher.
Everyone does not pay the same. If you are required to spend a greater portion of your salary to survive, then you pay more. If you can get by with saving almost all of your money, you don't pay taxes, and get to keep the prebate.
