I've been saying for a long time that Maryland is one State where the whole claim that the "voice of the people" has always voted against SSM is shown to be misleading.

The anti SSM folks have been trying for over 20 years now to get Maryland to pass a one man one woman marriage law. Unfortunately they never got enough voices of the people to sign petitions to get it on the ballot.

I have a pretty good feeling that Maryland will stand up for equal protection under the law and religious freedom, rather than vote to endorse bigotry, discrimination and religious intolerance.

Let's hope you're right.....I know that I am optimistically hopeful that we get Washington, Maine and Maryland at the ballot boxes.....that would seriously shut up some of these folks who love to post false statistics!!!

I'll believe it when I see it.

PPP is one of THE WORST polling organizations! They are always off by 10%. So that means the REAL number is more like 45% support in Maryland, which means we lose again.

I want to see actual numbers for multiple polling organizations of LIKELY VOTERS- i.e. those who have voted in the previous 2 elections.

I believe that it will work out......polls are only as good as the research that goes into them.

Unfortunately.....we will have to wait and see how things turn out, but I am hoping for positive steps to take place leading up to the election.

Yep, someone has spoken (above) just as I do:

I'll believe it when I see it.

These state votes should never have happened; they still shouldn't be happening. They're defective on, literally, more than one level.
