We've been scouring the data for clues as to what we should learn from what happened tonight as President Obama relatively easily claimed a second term.

That America IS Left of Center.

The political theater is over. It was well scripted.

Maybe in 4 more years the GOP will put a REAL conservative up for a change.

What the 2012 elections taught us is that Mitt Romney was absolutely correct:

47 percent of this nation is looking for government handouts, and will vote to keep them. So until the government runs out of our money, and the 47 percent are then left to fend for themselves without their government stipend, nothing will change in Washington, D.C.

“Clearly in a campaign with hundreds if not thousands of speeches and question and answer sessions, now and then you’re gonna say something that doesn’t come out right,” Romney said in an interview Wednesday night with Fox News’ Sean Hannity.“In this case I said something that’s just completely wrong.”

“He glosses over and doesn’t even tell the truth.… Here is a guy who is the ultimate flip-flopper running for president, and he’s attacking me for not being principled? That doesn’t wash.”

....except that Romney signed a pledge to Grover Norquist not to raise taxes. So the 47% would have remained non-tax paying unless he broke his promise to Grover Norquist. Probably wouldn't have had that problem with Ron Paul though. Romney was not the answer to your phony outrage.

Want to change Washington? Nominate a true conservative next time. Ron Paul was there all the time. YOU ARE part of the problem you complain about. Did you vote for Gary Johnson? I didn't think so.

I was surprised at how evangelicals were so quick to dump the Holy Bible for the Book of Mormon. It must have been about the money. Chaa ching!

Let's not be a nation of Mammonites and followers of cults.

God Bless America!

Mitt Romney didn't lose today. In fact...the exact opposite: Mormon Accomplished! Even Bill Graham and son have converted!

That apparently there are only two types of people in our country. Republicans who are aggressive with their lives and show it through their hard work. And Democrats who are apathetic and show it through receiving massive amounts of handouts.
Since obviously there has never, ever been a Republican who needed help and taken welfare or a Democrat who has held down a steady job and paid his/her taxes to be used at the discretion of their government!
Geesh...get.over.it!

Clearly God is angry with those who didn't vote for President Obama, but God still loves you. In the end, He gave you 4 MORE YEARS of President Obama.

But, Rmoney hasn't worked in years. How did apathy get President Obama elected? How did hard work fail Rmoney? That makes no sense.

But, Paul Ryan was on welfare and Warren Buffett works and pays taxes. Do you always speak in absolute falsehoods?

Please, the election is OVER. Stop LYING.

Did you read the second part? I though a sarcastic undertone would have been inferred.
Obviously it's a ridiculous notion to believe either statement would be an accurate portrayal of the whole, on either side of the aisle.
