Yes these people during Katrina rioted in Baton Rouge and simply stripped the shelves clean in every store they shopped and shop lifted in.
Taking the emergency money and going to stereo stores and rim shops spending that money in the casino's and just plain throwing that money down the toilet.
I worked at one of the casino's and they dropped millions of tax payer's dollars there.
Then it was going around with their hands out looking for more money and complaining about the people trying to help them.
Let's not forget the good old boys who were assaulting and arresting certain people while letting others go free.
I watched my community decend into madness with the dope murders and killing for nothing more then the money in your pocket.
I watched as people drove around my neighborhood ringing doorbells looking to rent homes and trying to scam landlords with FEMA will pay my rent.
Which was a lie and my neighbor who rented out a home he owned wouldn't rent to anyone who didn't have a job because he didn't believe FEMA would pay anything.
I left four years after Katrina due to the murders and robberies happening everyday.
Even when my home was for sale I had these people ringing my bell and saying I will pay you rent and maintain your home.
It was so bad we had people who would call to look at my home and then tell the realtor I can pay 900.00 dollars a month.
We finally had to start weeding people out with pre approved loans for home purchases.
I sold my home and left I was sick of dealing with idiots and welfare trash who seemed to think everyone owed them something.
