Well before you can read the tanakh you should work on being an atheist.
Freservant:
Ecclesiastes 1:9 "The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun."
Solomon, with the guidance of the Spirit of God, is telling you that those things that have happened before, will happen again. It is important that you understand this. There is no new idea or thing that can happen to man that has not already happened to man.
>>Remember that "under the sun" in in reference to "this flesh body of man".
FREESERVANT WROTE: Very good insight. The natural circuit is another term for cycles in all of creation.
FOR THE SEASONS, or seven circumambulations and a handy explanation to f.i. keep the flood at bay.(Someone should notify KAB.)
Just bringing it to the fore, so you will never forget that "UNDER THE SUN" references "THIS FLESH BODY OF MAN".
But oscillation does not feature much, a bit in moonphases.
There is really nothing new. Everything is just reproduced by cyclic patterned systems. Patterns are shown and followed.

The Gnostics, Aerobatty? Isn't that another of the christian sects that were wiped from the face of the Earth by this loving, peaceful, non-inherently-divisive religion?

<quoted text>Nope. Gnosticism refers to knowledge while Theism refers to belief. Atheism is a lack of belief in a god, not an assertion of non-existence.
Well atheist are trying to change the meaning to mean that.

Atheist sure have a hard time keeping your believes straight.
Yet alone just the definition of the word atheist.

Merriam - Webster

athe·ist\ˈā-thē-ist\
noun
: one who believes that there is no deity

"who believes". That's a positive assertion. Seeing as there is no proof of your belief It's FAITH.

Faith:
"Synonyms: devotion, piety, religion"

Ah yes Atheism is a Religion.

Have a nice day and don't forget to go to church.

Church, without God

“Stan Bradley likes Bible stories, admires Martin Luther and uses expressions such as 'heavens, no.'

The Lithopolis man is president of a local congregation and rarely misses a Sunday service. Occasionally, he goes to his wife's church instead.

For these and other reasons, Bradley considers himself religious.”

He is also an atheist.

continued:

“Like Bradley, some atheists participate in organized religion for its social and psychological benefits.”

continued:

“Churches are great places to find friends, support and youth education, so nonbelievers and believers alike join congregations to fill those needs, he said.

He has spoken to elderly and sick people who can no longer go to church and they say they most miss the feeling of community.

Recent research from Harvard University and the University of Wisconsin backs him up. It found that religious people tend to be happier than nonreligious people, not because of belief but because of the friendships found at church.”

“religious people tend to be happier than nonreligious people”[I have said this all along, and my posts are still on the board to confirm it. Now you hear it straight from the atheist, lol.]

I would say that this would definitely qualify as an assertion of non-existence.

<quoted text>That would be a gnostic atheist.

There are different types of atheist.

An agnostic atheist would be somebody who doesn't claim to know there is no god, but doesn't believe that there is one.

The natural world as it exist without human beings or civilization has a particular systematic way of working. Systems in nature will cycle and reproduce following set patterns.
