2 decades ago all the religions gathered in the vatican.
The question of sustainability, the Club of Rome's report.
Well they looked at how much good agricultural land there was (most get's build on, near rivers a.s.o silly.)
But it turned out they have 12 % of the best agricultural land and were not even aware!
It's a piece of history ofcourse, convents and almost all land belonged to the church. Till merchantkings interfered.
Club of Rome! Did my persuasive speech in college on there stuff.

Nope, it's a laser image projected onto the table .... you tap the table over the keys. It's awesome. No board, just a small box you place in front of your hands. My fingers get sore when I type too much, so I wind up taking too many breaks with a conventional keyboard. Right now I have an Apple Aluminum, it's really light touch but still more pressure than I can handle sometimes. To be able to just tap ... and get a response .... golden.
Wouldn't you get a tennis-armor a wooden shoulder.
I'm sitting here O.O
and frankly no idea. i sea those kind of series now and again where they whoosh, whoosh manipulate stuff.
Well typing i can still handle but florishing a whooshh, would be out of my depht.
And the other idea i got was like those courtdictaphones, tiny block on the table.
Reread, so it is glassfiber and you interrupt the beam, signal sent, barely a touch, right?
And you can keep your hands in the same spot.
I try to get the idea without lookingup an add.
Do you need your nose to handle any button/beam you can not reach?

What??? You don’t have answers? Not surprised really

Funny thing is science is working to find answers and has hypotheses for each question you are so flummoxed by.

Whereas godbots are quite happy to rely on bronze age understanding for their knowledge
Yes it is Funny!

I don't think either you or KK are considering the delicate balance of nature, the dependence our culture has on cheap energy or the limited amount of land available for cultivation. There will be a domino effect when demand for food combines with the price to produce food and with the price for shipping food, along with the cost of all of the other niceties of life.
The whole point is that people don't think about how our demands are running up against a brick wall of availability of resources. Personally, I think a massive economic destabilization and subsequent famine will occur within the lifetimes of many people on this forum. There's little population slowdown, and no interest in changing our lifestyles to more efficient ones where we live close to our jobs, produce what we need at home and plan for times of shortfalls.
We're shipping raw materials from all over the world to the places with the cheapest labor and the most careless consumption of fossil fuels, then shipping finished products back to cash rich places like the U.S. for the cheapest prices. We have some of the best energy reserves in the world, but it's dirty bituminous coal that will only accelerate global warming and likely cause a further loss of good farming country.
Meanwhile, our global population is increasing at the rate of a billion or so every decade. Something has to give. It probably won't start in this country, but with likely war and famine, we certainly won't be able to keep it from getting here.
I know. Just more gloom and doom prophecy, but I do understand the survivalists.
I agree, but there is a bias of perception, given everybody moving from rural to the cities, and mainly coasts.
But some countries i traveled have easily 9 million people per town. 21 million one had. It's culture and religion.

Seaweed really ain't all that bad, not as compost and also not to eat. And we have to get used to the taste of insects.

That's just it, if people used such light touch interfaces instead of these mechanical keyboards more, there'd be fewer ailments resulting from over use. The ailments are caused by repetitive muscle use, and thus the fewer muscles used, the less the ailments will afflict us.

Actually, no, you touch the table where the light projection is, barely tapping it, anything that breaks the reflection will be interpreted as a keypress. It's a small box with laser projectors and light sensors, sort of like the motion systems for video game consoles, only the projection onto the table is also visible to the human eye as well so you see a keyboard .... made of light. It's not 3D, but it's still so cool. Another benefit is that it takes up less space when not in use! Forgot to mention that benefit.

I don't like posting sales sites, as they are spam as well, but I'll make an exception to this.

Of course. That's why we have creationists. One day they'll wake up and realise they're in the 21st century and be like "OMFG!!!"

So in other words, when we deny the facts, you'll accept the science.

You have no idea how to use science.

The structure of nature does not work the way Darwin thought. A systematic study of systems in nature will give us the facts of how they are patterned and systematically arranged to cycle and reproduce following given pathways that are not linear as Darwin was misunderstanding and ignorant about.

Then you WILL find truth unfortunate.

God didn't do it the way you think it did.

Or it's a liar.

There are no other options.

No, science is a tool for figuring out how reality works. You would know that if you were educated, or paid any attention to what the more intelligent and learned people have said on here.

Stop telling God what to do. It is not limited by your petty limited imagination.

And yours too. Therefore rather than appealing to evidence we do not have, I simply refer to the evidence provided by God itself. Assuming it even exists.

No it created itself... is your claim. Breaking one of the most fundamental laws of science... you imply An effect without a cause.

But the concept of God creating the Universe does not break the law of cause and effect.

In fact, if you claim that a cause does not need an effect(as you do) then "God dunit with magic" readily applies.
