Me, too, boogs. I had a spell of early morning wakening several years back during a period of depression. I could take Valerian and go back to sleep within the hour usually. Once the depression resolved, I would just take it from time to time if feeling restless when I needed to go on to sleep. I love it. It works with no side effects for me. Have a great day, boogs!
It is good stuff, stinks something awful, but thats ok. Did you know it is used as an alternative along with higher doses (than recommended by the FDA) of calcium to alleviate a recovering alcoholic's cravings! it does quite well from what I've read. You have a good day too, and peaceful night at work :)

The people in Kentucky will be even more poor if Obama gets his way. The United States Senate may vote any day on the stealth imposition of what could amount to an $845 BILLION United Nations style global tax on American citizens?
It's called the Global Poverty Act (S.2433), and it is being sponsored by none other than Senator Barack Obama.
According to some conservative sources, this disastrous legislation could eventually force U.S. taxpayers to fork over as much as 0.7 percent of the nation's Gross Domestic Product -- or $845,000,000,000.00 -- on welfare to third-world countries.
Here's what Phyllis Schlafly, conservative activist and founder of Eagle Forum, recently wrote:
"Obama's costly, dangerous and altogether bad bill (S. 2433), which could come up in the Senate any day, is called the Global Poverty Act. It would commit U.S. taxpayers to spend 0.7 percent of our Gross Domestic Product on foreign handouts..." [Emphasis Mine]
Time is of the essence because Senator Joe Biden, the Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee just issued a report on the Global Poverty Act and it was placed on the Senate Legislative Calendar on Thursday the 24th.
That means that time is of the essence as this potentially massive surrender of your hard-earned tax dollars to the third world may be close to a vote.
As for specific figures... WorldNetDaily.com reports:
"Those U.N. protocols would make U.S. law on issues ranging from the 2nd Amendment to energy usage and parental rights all subservient to United Nations whims."
"[T]he legislation, if approved, dedicates 0.7 percent of the U.S. gross national product to foreign aid, which over 13 years... would amount to $845 billion 'over and above what the U.S. already spends.'"
"The plan passed the House in 2007 'because most members didn't realize what was in it.' Congressional sponsors have been careful not to calculate the amount of foreign aid spending that it would require."
And, how would the United States pay for this $845 BILLION commitment? According to Kincaid, who published a report on the legislation; "A global tax will clearly be necessary to force American taxpayers to provide the money."
And that $845 BILLION global tax is in addition to our nation's current Foreign Aid programs, which, in 2006, cost American taxpayers about $300 BILLION!
Senator Obama's Global Poverty Act has already passed the House (many Members unfortunately voted in favor of it without carefully noting exactly what was in it) and President Bush may very well sign it!
That's why it must be stopped, and it must be stopped NOW!
And people believe this is the kind of president we should have. Let me tell you what Obama wrote in his book. From Audacity of Hope:'I will stand with the Muslims should
the political winds shift in an ugly direction.'

And the POVERTY is expected to continue, so what do you expect after Bill and Hillary Clinton pushed the NAFTA trade agreement through -- USA has been increasingly losing JOBS to foreign Countries. That was the CLINTON NAFTA PLAN-- to work like Wal Mart(where Hillary Clinton worked as a Director for 6 years). Wal Mart is crazy about that cheap labor and those cheap products. USA doesn't make anything anymore. Not even autos. Baby bottles are full of toxins. great. NAFTA Plan sold USA JOBS to Out-Source countries and American Workers beg for food and shelter and low-wage jobs. Yet WE JUST LUV THE CLINTONS --RIGHT?

<quoted text> Have you taken (from your Dr.) verification of your medical conditions to DHS?$1400 per month for 3 people, is very little....do your rent or own your home? if you rent do you pay utilities? This really doesn't make sense. I know the rules have minor differences from state to state, yet at the same time eligibility requirements are generally calculated the same. Is it possible your bladder has dropped? if so, a minor surgery can correct (usually) you should talk to your dr., that in and of itself should at least get you emergency medicaid for surgery & recovery. As far as emergency assistance goes. If surgery isn't the answer, you could try specific exercises to alleviate if not correct, again talk to your Dr. about it. Some of the exercises can be lots of fun!! Go to some medical web sites, you can get tons & tons of helpful information....in laymans terms. Wishing the best for you!! Did you know stress can contibute to bladder problems? Check that out too....
Thanks boogs and done forgot sorry,,, I did pay rent of over 500 and they didnt take the utilities but yes we are over the income limit they say,,, I cannot go to dr, have no medical and dont have the 225 payment... I dont know what is causing this stress, fibro, and think I may have ms. I just wanted to work,, My doc wont sign nothing for me because I wouldnt go in his study, forced me to apply disability since they had to fire me from my job, because doc wouldnt even sign fmla for me to try treatment, God I miss my job.... Thanks for info will check it out....

However, ailments that are related to poor diet and/or poor nutrition such as fibro, a host of digestive issues, skin problems etc. I believe in going for the natural cure instead.
I know but there is this Doc in LA I can get his name for you and he is like considered one of the best for fibro. If you want his name, let me know? I think his name is Dr. Amira and he is at Cedars Sinai Medical Center.

I found an interesting blog by a GE worker in Indiana, on unemployment benefits while I was looking For Clinton’s comments above. It looked like a nugget of information to pass along and tuck away.

They say my hubbys income is too much, being around 1400 for 3of us. my son gets medicaid , but we dont qualify for anything else due to us making too much. I do use the required things but working is not possible because I cannot shower every hour or so all day and I cant stand the things that come with this.
I am sorry that you are so self conscious of your condition. It must be very unpleasant, but please remember others are so caught up in their own cares, they probably won't realize what is going on with you, unless you tell them. I know it must be depressing to have to carry the required things around but I really don't see what choice you have if you do want to work and get a cash flow going. I wish you the very best and feel confident that you will be able to overcome all this if you just keep the right attitude.

Senator Obama has now apparently determined not to claim Victory on Tues.

[When asked again Wednesday whether he still planned to declare victory following the results from Oregon and Kentucky, Obama dispatched the suggestion with a cool stare.

“We will declare that we have the majority of pledged delegates,” Obama said, giving the question only three seconds of his time before pivoting towards the front cabin of his campaign plane.

Obama said Sunday that he has not sent mixed messages.

“What we have consistently said is that we will have the majority of pledged delegates at that point and obviously ware going to make the argument to any superdelegates remaining that we should be the nominee,” Obama said.“But until those pledged delegates actually commit to us, we won't have achieved that number yet." ]

Twenty-something years ago in L.A. near the beach there were verbal fights over the parking areas where the duplexes were. Here I was, just traveled from Texas and pulled into somebody's parking place and they were forced to park down the street.
But I had fun there for four months, although I was born in L.A., I had a deep Southern drawl and the ladies loved it.

Thanks for the info, but I don't have fibro. Although I did have symptoms along with an extreme IBS....All of which went away with 2 months after I quit using artificial sweetners in my tea, diet soda's etc. I was less than 100 lbs., in terrible pain, fatigue, night sweats, etc. During this same time (about 5 years) I was taking all the right supplements....but was at the same time consuming large amounts of artifical sugar. It was poisening my entire system. Within 6 months I was back to 110 lbs and filled with tons of energy, I feel like a 20 year old!!

Not a chance!! I have a little over a 1/4 mile between my house & my one neighbor, on the other side is protected wetlands, behind is woods, across the road, is corn fields....I lived in a townhouse when I was in my 20's, it was ok for then....I was gone most of the time.....On the other hand, during our winter months, I could make myself love living in your neck of woods!!
