You'll never get them all. All you do is lose your OWN freedoms.

Yeah, those damn guys will probably just waste their time prosecuting murderers, rapists, child molesters, and thieves.

Bear, I bet most of the muderers, rapist, child molseters and thieve have an extensive background of drug use. Why should we have to wait for them to destoy someones elses life before we put them in jail for drug crimes?

Faulty logic. They also have an extensive backgroud of using coffee, milk, and sugar.

I didn't realize a coffee or sugar high was the same kind of high as say..an oxycontin or meth high. Of course, milk doesn't give you any kind of rush with the exception of a rush to the bathroom if you are lactose intolerant.

You are quite right, but the point is faulty logic.

Because many bad criminals previously used drugs does NOT mean that drug users will necessary become bad criminals.

Anti-porn people use the same incorrect logic. They claim rapists all started out on porn, so ban porn. What about all the men who like porn but do not become rapists?

It's also the same faulty logic that anti-gun people use. 20,000 gun crimes a year in the US, so ban guns. Yeah, but what about the 100,000,000 gun owners who do NOT commit crimes?

I say, lock up the rapists, murderers, and child abusers. Legalize drugs and return to freedom. People should answer for their actions, not their potentional actions.

The whole idea of laws against what people may or may not consume is a very new thing. It started in the late 19th century and didn't really take hold until the mid-20th.
