WOW......Where do we start? We could start with the fact that medically marijuana is less damaging than alcohol or tabacco which are both currently legal. Considering all the domestic violence issues it seems logical to conclude that marijuana is also less damaging socially as well. Shall we continue..........

it takes on average 10 cigs to inflict the same amount of damage to your lungs as one joint. try running one mile after smoking a joint. guarantee you won't.

Actually, there are more deaths attributed to alcohol than marijuana. Also, people don't smoke marijuana in the same amounts as cigarettes, so that argument isn't valid. Legalization could balance the budget in many states. KY alone could make a mint in taxes on it. There are also valid medical uses. Apply the same rules as those applied to the use and sale of alcohol.
As an aside, the worst that normally happens when someone is smoked up is they eat everything in the fridge. A drunk will get behind the wheel and take out a human life. A stoner would rather sit on the sofa and munch. A drunk would rather start a fight or cuckold his best friends wife. A stoner is just happy to be alive.

for legalization you are do true high people never get into fights and are very relaxed which causes them to think more about reactions and consequences i believe. So lets just go ahead and do what should have been done years ago and legalize it.
im all for it

The world would be a much happier place if we were all stoned. It's relaxing after a long days work. Plus if they sold it legally the taxes the state could make would help em out. Legalize it and lets all just relax. Peace ,love, and happiness, and legal pot.

also just imagine if they sold it in stores how much money would be made and how many lifes it would save from drug deals gone bad and it would also put most of the filthy drug dealers out of power

IN Fact, I am myself and avid smoker and I run an average of 4 miles a day and have competed in three 5k races this year alone. It's not suprising that one would try to find a down-side to smoking, however you'll probably die from the hormone over-load in our foods and city waters before marijuana has a chance to get you down. I'm sure once you get cancer from the previous listed items, you'll be looking for something NATURAL to ease your pain and suffering.

It does not kill them. It just puts them in a dormant state.

I wouldnt do it. it may not kill you as easy as alcohol can, but its so addicting to people. Have u never seen the stories of people on tv who were addicted to it. How much of thier life they threw away just to smoke some joints? if u want this legalized, you're pretty damn stupid. As if we dont have enough problems today to deal with. You people are idiots.

Check your facts...marijuana is LESS ADICTIVE than coffee. The problems stem from tax dollars being spent on inmates who are in jail for as little as an ounce of smoke, instead of using tax dollars for programs such as health insurance, homeless shelters, social security, missing and exploited children, sex offender registry programs and environmental cleanup. THOSE are problems. It is physically impossible to over-dose from marijuana or hemp-related products. Marijuana has numerous medical BENIFITS that never come to light. Only an idiot would spat off about an issue without having any prior knowledge of the arguement.

You know once upon a time tobacco, used in moderation was okay. Until the corporations filled it with poisons and such. I think that the same would happen with weed. If anything just make it okay to have it for personal use. It would save a lot of tax payers dollars that are wasted fighting a losing battle on this drug. it's like anything you can put in your body too much is bad for you. Moderation is the key.

I'm sure that Kentucky could grow much better marijuana than the medical marijuana grows can grow in their basements - it would be a win-win for everybody!

i feel the benifits from legalizing pot are tremendous! california is receiving rediculous amounts of $ in taxes every year, just from the sale of medicinal marijuana.
i hated economics, but this would be a way to help create jobs and such!!
