What happened to the land of the free? Where we live right? The good ole USA, to many rights & restrictions are taking place each year. If someone wants to have an abortion that is their right to live with their choice. So dont worry about it, do what you want & others will do what they want. FREEDOM..........what has happend to this right in the USA???

To Lisa,

FYI, Many, in fact the majority of Americans now say NO ONE HAS THE RIGHT TO TAKE ANOTHERS LIFE.

I guess you don't get that.

We all love freedom. And we all love choices.

You are free to decide and choose if you will keep your legs closed and not create a baby.
You are free to decide not to have sex.
You are free to decide and choose to walk away.
Males and females alike are free to choose.

But after your decision to take a chance and have sex, NO ONE IS FREE TO CHOOSE DEATH FOR SOMEONE ELSE.

The people in the good ole USA rarely had abortion until R v W.

There were, on average, 4000 deaths annually to women, from back alley abortions.

But we've been experiencing over 1 to 1.5 million dead babies yearly since R v W.

We've killed of over 50,000,000 people since R v W.

If we hadn't our social security system wouldn't be in the fix it's in today.
Our economic system wouldn't be fractured like it is today.
Our MediCare system wouldn't bew near bankruptcy.

Why? We would have millions more tax payers then we now have.

But NO, we have to kill off those who are the most innocent and defenseless among us.

Do you really think killing a baby should be a right?

Do whatever you want with your body. But count me out on paying for it. There are plenty of loving homes for the unwanted. We have choices in the path we take in life. God indicated long ago thou shall not kill. This has nothing to do with Freedom, but plenty said for inconvenience and population control.

Really? Plenty of loving homes? Then why are so many children languishing without even foster homes in the US? How many have you taken in? None, I would guess.
BTW, the commandment (not indication)is against murder not killing.

There is no right whatsoever to be gestated, or to use another's body against their will to preserve your life. On the other hand, there are many reasons for which terminating a life is legal and acceptable--self-defense, capital punishment, accidental death, refusal of medical services, etc. Given that fetuses have no legal standing, the woman's will is the deciding factor.

I guess 4000 dead women are acceptable to you; it's not to me. These were breathing, thinking, feeling women, most of whom died in agony from peritonitis. I know that the fact they suffered makes you wet, but most of us do not think women should die for having a procedure you dislike.

About 11 women still die in childbirth each year per 100,000 deaths (about 440 a year); this is certainly enough of a risk factor to allow women to decide if they choose to bear a child or not. The other factors, like free will and the fact that we aren't bringing back slavery for your convenience, are perfectly valid for any pregnant woman to make her OWN decision.

You really think having millions more people would HELP our economy? That's absurd. There isn't enough employment and resources for the people we have.

Only third-trimester abortion is considered surgical, and only then in some cases.

Now, look around and tell me that this economy could sustain 50 MILLION more people.

Here we go again. Too many people with too much time on their hands butting in to others lives which are NONE of their business. Get a life and leave the rest of us alone.
Until you have been raped or molested you have NO right to tell me what to do with my body or my future!

Great. And if you get pregnant and decide to have the kid, pay for it yourself. If you choose to play violent or risky sports, pay for medical care yourself. And if you smoke, you're on your own--I'm not paying for your choices.

We can play your game to the point where only accidental paper cuts will be paid for.

<<We all love freedom. And we all love choices.>>

That''s right.

<<<<You are free to decide and choose if you will keep your legs closed and not create a baby.
You are free to decide not to have sex.
You are free to decide and choose to walk away.
Males and females alike are free to choose.>>

So why aren't men keeping their yeldas in their pants. Why is it only the female's duty to "keep her legs closed?"

<<But after your decision to take a chance and have sex, NO ONE IS FREE TO CHOOSE DEATH FOR SOMEONE ELSE.>>

A fetus isn't a someone.... women are free to terminate fetuses.

<<The people in the good ole USA rarely had abortion until R v W.>>

ROFLMFAOPIMPMOY&YJ!

<<There were, on average, 4000 deaths annually to women, from back alley abortions.>>

Tht was only the ones that were reported.

<<<But we've been experiencing over 1 to 1.5 million dead babies yearly since R v W.>>

No babies die as a result of abortion.

<<<We've killed of over 50,000,000 people since R v W.>>

The law says fetuses are NOT people.

<<If we hadn't our social security system wouldn't be in the fix it's in today.>>

Gibbering and drooling. Irrelevant!

<<<Our economic system wouldn't be fractured like it is today.>>

Thank mr. Bushit for that. The economy was a ticking time bomb since he was president.

<<<Our MediCare system wouldn't bew near bankruptcy.>>

Thanx to paying for the births of all those kids you are saving.

<<Why? We would have millions more tax payers then we now have.>>

Not for 18 years or more. And how many will really be on welfare for 18 years? I would say maybe half.

<<<But NO, we have to kill off those who are the most innocent and defenseless among us.>>

fetuses cannot be "innocent" or guilty." they don't have the capacity.

<<Do you really think killing a baby should be a right?>>

Killing a baby is a crime. If you know someone killing babies, call 911 and report them. Tell them your local abortion clinic is murdering a baby right now....

You don't have to give your name. The cops will find you and lock you up for making a false police report.

<<Do whatever you want with your body.>>

I will!

<<< But count me out on paying for it. >>

I don't think welfare recipients pay taxes, so I guess you won't be paying anything for me.

<<<There are plenty of loving homes for the unwanted.>>

That's why we have almost 2000,000 kids waiting to be adopted.

<<<We have choices in the path we take in life. >>

yes. which car should I drive today?

<<God indicated long ago thou shall not kill.>>

Not kill what? How do you eat without killing? If you are a vegan, you are killing innocent fruits vegetables and nuts.

<<< This has nothing to do with Freedom,>>

it has everything to do with freedom. Freedom of privacy... freedom to make your own medical choices..... bodily autonomy..

<< but plenty said for inconvenience and population control.>>

Population control and convenience are very important. We don't want to use up all of our resources and depend on China unless you like a lot of rice and some moo goo gai pan every day. if we keep overpopulating, soon we will be like India....... a giant slum!

Convenience: If you are in the market, and you have only three items, don't you go to the express lane for convenience?

How many children do you have? I want to know if you are doing anything for population control.

Spoken like a true logic lacking Progressive Liberal. Thought you secular progressives didn't read the bible. How many foster kids have you taken in? Murder/Killing synonymous

Wrong again, silly. Murder is ILLEGAL killing. Since I'm not the one who wants to force women to breed, the question of adopting or fostering belongs to you. How many of those thousands of unwanted children have you taken home to love?

By "her" response to you I say NONE.

What I don't get is that these people are anti-choice, often anti BC and anti-education, but also don't want to pay into welfare at all. How, then, do they deal with all the unwanted offspring? Just let "G-d" take care of them???

Heck, I say make BC readily available and inexpensive or free. It's pathetic that our insurance pays for Viagra but NOT contraception!

I certainly do not want to be supporting droves of other people's kids just because some fruitloop decided that they know better what choices these people should make.
