Actually if revenue is the prime consideration the state stands to increase it greatly by lowering the drinking age to 6 and installing beer vending machines in all Kansas schools. This is a fix for the entire economy of the state. As an amendment to this bill, the state should require all state representatives and senators, as well as the Guv to consume at least one quart of whiskey each work day before 8:00 A.M. In this way all Kansas laws will begin to make more sense than they do now.

As a post script; Hard liquor should be withheld until at least the age of 9 to give the younger drinkers a chance both to "warm into it" and to have something else to anticipate in advance of receiving their drivers licenses at age 12 (something that I hadn't mentioned before).
