Gov Brownback is working hard to protect the safety of women and the clinic workers. He is a leader we can be proud of.

Proscribed Parenthood has always pontificated that abortion should be "between a woman and her doctor," all the while ignoring its pontifications in favor of turning a fast, expedient buck. That callous betrayal of women just came to a screeching halt in Kansas, thanks to Gov. Brownback and the legislature.

Tony Perkins writes: "As part of a bill he signed yesterday, the Governor [Brownback] authorized surprise inspections at the state's three abortion clinics. To further enrage Planned Parenthood, Brownback gave women the option of seeing an ultrasound before their abortions and banned women from getting RU-486 prescribed via "webcam." The approach had been a popular one at Planned Parenthood because it freed up mothers from meeting a doctor face-to-face. "Anything we could do to require the clinics to care more about women than about their profit margins is a good thing," said Mary Kay Culp of Kansans for Life [ http://www.kfl.org/SiteResources/Data/Templat... ]."

All this garbage so fundies will keep you in office. Looking good so far. I mean, why care about facts and the health of women when you can target the places where those dirty little trollops seek help. Pregnancy is punishment for sex. Your religious perspectives are easy to see underneath the legislation.

These gophhers continue to chip away at the rights of women, they keep chipping away at what happens to a women's body and keep chipping away at the privacy and options of choice.

Women should remember these tactics - whether you believe in pro-choice or you are anti-choice.

Pregnancy is not a punishment. Many people have sinful sex and don't get pregnant. Many people are married and get pregnant. So how can it be a punishment? Babies are life and love not punishments.

Abortion is nothing more than killing of a child because his or her parents are not mature enough to take responsibility for their actions.
The only condolence is that the child will never have to call such selfish, irresponsible murderers "mommy or daddy"

What would you call forcing a woman to carry an unwanted pregnancy to term?

Don't want to be pregnant? Then keep your pants on.
It makes no sense when someone engages in the "act", then cries "Why me?" when it happens. Same is true with any STD. Wait until your married, and only marry someone with the same values, and be faithful. Then you will have no fear about STD or unplanned pregnancy.
Old Fashioned? Yes. But it works.

I support and defend the rights and life of the unborn child. Adults can fight for themselves (and if they're unwilling to do so, then they don't deserve them anyway). But a child depends on their parents and other adults to protect them; not kill them.

And the term is abortion. Why are you trying to soften the image by calling it "choice"?

You obviously think everyone has self-serving motives for doing the right things. What a horrible WORLD you must live in.

Brownback is not pro-life because he wanted to get elected governor. He's pro-life because of his moral, ethical, and principled beliefs.

He's always been pro-life. It's no secret to anyone in America much less Kansas.

You can't handle any restrictions to the existing Carte Blanche atmosphere that has prevailed.

So, if you feel you have the right to kill, there are more of us now that feel the baby has a right to live.

We all deal with things over which we have no control, but if one's actions are VERY risky in the least, there are preventive measures that can taken.

Your anger over restrictions concerning abortion are misplaced.

Let your anger be directed at the target responsible for the pregancy in the first place.

You could use a $2 condom to prevent a pregnancy but instead you would rather execute a child?

You could use birth control methods, for which there are many, but instead you would rather OFF a baby?

You and other tramps like you need to begin accepting some responsibility.

I don't know if you're a bar skank or what but I DO KNOW no baby should pay for your mistake with their life.

You don't have to appreciate what I just wrote, for I doubt you will, but I am not someone who feels the need to be politically correct concerning murderers or butchers of children.

Grow up!
Stop being some self-centered weak-minded individual looking for some form of acceptance by engaging in sex with any sperm donor who comes along.

You use the name JoyOfLife but your entire attitude concerning your right to abortion indicates it's only YOU who should Joy Life and not some innocent baby.

THAT'S PATHETIC.

Really? Why do you want the irresponsible to read? Why do you hate born children?
BTW, as you know, there is no "killing of a child" in an abortion. A z/e/f is removed from the uterus of a woman who has decided to exercise her rights. Stop being so silly.

ROFLMAO!! "Sinful sex," what CENTURY are you living in, the 16th? I guess you must be, or maybe the 18th, perhaps. Luckily, I live in the 21st century, where sex that DOESN'T lead to procreation isn't considered "sinful." Some religious authoritarians can't seem to progress beyond the 16th to 18th centuries, obviously.

In any case, FORCED pregnancy, which is forcing a woman to remain pregnant against her will, IS a punishment, especially when she never wanted to BE pregnant in the first place. Not every woman considers pregnancy and birth to be "joyous events."

You obviously think that abortion is all about the killing instead of the women who go through it. You can't see the women for the babies and then leave the kids to be abused and live lives that their parents wouldn't have chosen for them. Every child should be a wanted child. God loves you, and so do I. I think it's interesting that you think this Gov is all for these rights when he doesn't have a vagina to be invaded by the government. Our country is going through severe economic crisis, and this is the best legislation? Really? Limit a service that only has religious bigots up in arms while jobs go unmade? Sure, you make sense here. How about how the RCC and most fundies seek to reduce access to contraception. It's already happening. Can't blame contraception if your side is trying to limit access to it as well as limit education for it. It's really high and might to sit there and think that others hold your world view and simply choose to dismiss it. Tell ya what, help the women who seek abortions first, and there will be fewer abortions. Don't feel like doing that, then bug off. You won't be there after it's born, why be the pervert all up in a woman's junk beforehand. You think this is born out of some kind of anger, and that may be so, but only on the level of human rights. I happen to be a human being. Pregnancy is a state that I can choose to be in or not. Denying me that control over my own body is perverse and denies me my human rights. Why aren't you helping already born women? Oh yeah, cuz they can defend themselves... sure, right. Ignorance is really your excuse then? Attacking my name is also nice. I believe in the joy of life for those who already have it and choose it. You don't, or you'd be supportive of women who need help, access to medical services, and occasionally, yes gasp, abortion services. Abortion has a long history in our species' past. Getting angry because your imaginary friend in the sky tells you to, or his "rep." makes perfect sense... not.

Let me just reply to this right quick with how eloquent and loving your words are. Calling me a skank without knowing me shines though you like the love of Christ. May his love and light shine upon you and open your heart to release all that hate. Name calling is nice and all, and while I don't know your definition of "skank" I'm sure that most women would fall within it regardless. You think that sex is invitation to pregnancy, when I know it is also an expression of physical love between two people. You espouse your silly little limited knowledge of bc, while completely disregarding how many children are being taught abstinence only programs now which have proven to increase the teen pregnancy rates, the countless insurance programs that don't even cover the pill, oh yeah, and how adamantly the PL movement is working to limit access to bc. Oh yeah, and that a great majority of abortions take place when bc fails, not 100%, but poor women should be punished with babies right? If the dirty little "skanks" spread 'em then they deserve to have to go through all the bs of having a whole baby to make you feel better, and you'll take care of it too, right? Unless, ofcourse, it's a baby of color, then you wouldn't be bothered... right? I love watching the protesters get all closed lipped when a woman of color walks past their lines. Any of them going to offer? No. Your entire movement is one big hypocritical joke. Let's put the cart in front of the horse. Let's worry about the OMG BABIEZS before the women who give birth to them. Sure, yah. That makes perfect sense, if you're a moron and a pervert with nothing better to do than fantasize about the contents of another woman's body.

Ok then... If that is not a baby in the mothers womb, then why such an outcry by abortionists whenever it is recommended for the mother to see the ultrasound?

The rights of anyone ends where the rights of another begins. For example; I have a right to make a fist, and swing my arm with full force. However, my right to do so ends where your nose begins. Likewise with the child. The mothers right to her body ends where the baby's life begins.
