"Archbishop Joseph Naumann, of the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas, attended the bill-signing rally at the Statehouse hosted by supporters of the anti-abortion organization Kansans for Life.
"This is a huge step forward," Naumann said. "It shows perseverance and faith eventually bear fruit."
Naumann, frustrated with Sebelius' abortion rights position, publicly advised the governor not to present herself for communion. He said the controversial recommendation was delivered to motivate her to reconsider support for "what is an intrinsic evil — the destruction of innocent human life by abortion."
IOW, he used spiritual blackmail to affect politics in the US.
The Catholic churchs in the US should be taxed if their priests want to be political.
