McCain visits Indianapolis

Senator John McCain stopped in the Hoosier State today. He spoke at the National Sheriff's Convention in Indianapolis, before attending a campaign fundraiser.

The next P.O.T.U.S. will appoint two or possibly three supreme court justices. This comment " I will look for accomplished men and women with a proven record of excellence in the law and a proven commitment to judicial restraint" is reason enough to vote McCain to the highest office in the land! There are 4 S.C Justices currently serving that do NOT know how to read or maybe just cannot form logical thought patterns. So the next President will hopefully bring some relief to that issue.

Well... I suppose that we could carelessly bring all our troops home and fight the Jihad here on our home land turf. That way more innocent americans can be killed by terrorists who are targeting all infidels! Then all those roadside bombs and suicide bombers will be in malls and large venues here and more efficiently kill americans in huge numbers. Is everyone blind? or is it just that they want to deny truth?

We still have troops in Germany, Japan, the Philippines, ect., this is nothing new. Don't try & spin it to sound like we'll be fighting a war over there for the next 1000 years. A military presence needs to be there even after the majority of troops have been withdrawn.

Also is wise of you not to argue with people who are informed & can think for themselves. It will make you look stupid every time.

Oh I am very well informed.I have a son in Iraq(again) I have just learned that it is much less stressful for me not to argue on message boards because the people just upset me and it isn't worth it.I have enough strees worrying about my son every day.I'll say it before any of you can cause I know it's coming.Nobody forced him to join. I have already heard it several times.

First of all let me apologize for my above statement. I had no idea you were the mother of one of or finest fighting overseas. I guess I just got snappy after your initial post.

My hats off to you & your family. You should be very proud of your son & I'm sure you are. There's no doubt in my mind you worry about him all the time, that's just being a good mother.

I have the deepest admiration for our men & women serving in the armed forces. In my opinion they are with out a doubt Americas finest. Regardless of anyones stance on the war we must support our troops. They are the ones fighting the good fight to protect our freedoms.

I know I get snappy sometimes reading posts about the war and our soldiers.That is mostly the mother in me coming out LOL. I am very proud of my son and all our service members.I agree with you that we should support our troops no matter what our stance on this war is.

I cannot agree with "heller" more. I support our troops. Few actions can make me more angry than to see pickitters lining processions of fallen HEROS.
Anyway my comments earlier were not to put our troops in harms way by leaving them there to fight a war with restrictions that limit personal protection... my feeling has always been to allow them the freedom to do what we have trained them to do. By the same token that we keep this war on terror in a land far away from the America that I love.
You can call me selfish, you can call me patriotic, or you cn call me wierd but I would rather hear reports that a suicide bomber killed 40 palestinians in a crowded market place in Khabul than to hear that a quiet subdued person took the lives of 60 americans and wounded 100 others in a crowded movie premier of the latest action flick in a theatre in New York.
