On 02 February 2008 I filed a lawsuit against the Boone County Courts for failing to maintain access to public records. Boone County does not have recording equipment that allows for a copy of the recordings of court proceedings to be made. I am looking for other people who were denied access or would like to try so I can join all counties to this lawsuit who are in violation. I also sued the judge for issuing an order that I cannot use the APRA to seek records from the Town of Thorntown.
Complete pleadings and sample request letters are available here.
