Equal rights for all. That is what this country was founded on, end of discussion. The intolerant will soon be the minority and those of us who do support the equal rights movement will be able to breath easier.

There are less of them about, the rest are worried about being shamed for their bigotry.

More and more people are starting to learn that, while they may choose to be uncomfortable or intolerant of other people, they have no business harming them.

I have zero respect for people that work to use the government and panic among the ignorant to take away other people's civil rights and equal protections, but I have no desire to harm those people. I just want them to stop harming other people and mind their own business.

They're quiet because they wish to de legitimize the notion that courts have any role in deciding little things like civil rights matters. The sexually sick fundies always want to vote on civil rights...particularly when all signs are that they're going to lose long term in the judiciary.

Also, we may assume that many of the (male) gay marriage opponents are being blackmailed into silence by their former grindr hookups under threat of exposure.

Why would anyone accept those things? Do you believe that forcing sex onto non-consenting individuals is the same as sex between two consenting adults? That's pretty ridiculous, don't you think?

Actually beasiality is legal in more states then gay marriage is. That right there proves how f*cked up our system is.

The opposition to the equal rights movement always go to the extreme with comparing the love between two consenting adults who want to legally be bound to one another to the sick and twisted sexual acts that blemish our world.

In my opinion if they spend so much time thinking about such disgraceful acts then they are disgusting people. I would never compare the love between a heterosexual couple to that of a child molester or someone who has sexual relations with an animal.

Just proves how little respect for the human race the bigots have.

If any group has constantly proved how extreme they are, it's the LGBIGOT bully movement.

Apples and oranges, Poodle. But you knew that already. Those people's business IS serving the public. When you go into a business that serves the public, you're benefitting from all the public services that the taxpayers pay for to allow your business to exist. That means you no longer have the right to pick and choose which of those law-abiding taxpayers you serve. If you don't want to serve everyone equally, don't go into a business that serves the public. Simple.

Poor you. It's not 1951 anymore. Bummer, huh?

How so? Are you saying that any Christian would be fine with being turned away from a business because that business didn't choose to "serve their kind", because the owners were Muslim?

I can't imagine your average christian turning the other cheek to that, would you?

No comments to the press? Pickets? Lawsuits? Vandalism? Rants from the pulpit?

Only a hypocrite would expect gay folks to quietly accept discrimination that NO other American would take. I believe that would make you and wonder the hypocrites.

List the "extreme" things that gay folks demand that straight folks do not already have, and take for granted.

Since you mentioned me in your own limited way..........I would not sue them, I would not picket them, I would not try to destroy their property. I also wouldn't attempt to buy anything from them again. I would find a place that welcomed me.

"Extreme" and "disturbed".

You demand everybody else accept your lifestyles and beliefs while remaining completely intolerant of ours. When a Phil Robertson or Chic-fil-A owner states an opinion consistent with traditions that have been around for thousands of years, your response is seething anger in the form of boycotts, protests, and threats. You people remind me of the Neanderthals down in Ferguson, MO who protest and commit violent acts in the name of "justice", but in actuality are just pissed off that something has occurred that happens to run contrary of what they perceive as reality. This unbridled hatred manifests itself in a way that has become commonplace among liberals when anyone dares commit an act or express an opinion or that differs from theirs.

You people probably wouldn't get so much pushback if you weren't so bigoted all of the time.
