I WEAR The"PINK Handcuffs of Methdone Treatment", Because I WANT HELP,I Have a DEVASTATING Illness...NOT BECAUSE "I Get a High, or a Buzz, from my Meds". I was Ran over as a pedestrian, by a drunk driver,at age 17.At 49,now. My Pain, is tolerable on Methadone, and for once since before 17, I have a vastly improved life-quality!
That Drunk ran a Stopsign & Hit me, My Life has been a hell of PAINPILLS, that Doctors were only too happy to give me. When I found the Clinic, I was given a life back, my self esteem back. My entire way of looking at life, was changed for a much more hopeful,and Christian Life.I was getting the 'treatment I need'!
I ASK Once More; "Do You FEEL SAFER, Now That THESE Laws are 'going Into EFFECT',Dec.1st??? I don't feel SAFER, I'm scared to death I might "Have a Symptom of My Illness",God Fobid!!
...And now The State of INDIANA, says I "Cannot have a symptom of my illness, or I'm hurled back onto the world, with NO HELP"!
