Wow it looks like Romeoville has won yet another award from an independent group for economic development. What no trolls wanted to let this article get to the comments section? Its a shame that you can't see what everyone else in the world seems to know. Romeoville is doing very well.

Hmmm. Try reading the article it has nothing to do with corruption. Just how a ultra conservative group made up a b@llsh%t criteria for how the village Web page is setup. Turns out Romeoville actually has more information and features on their's than Plainfield does. Nice try but stop making things up.

Romeoville is still a trailer court with driveways. If you like it so much, move there. Townhomes, prefab 60's homes and tons of single mothers with all the crime statistics that go with mother head of household.

I've never heard anyone say "I wish I could move to Romeoville." Ever.
It's a dump of a city with high crime rate, unkempt neighborhoods and corrupt government.
A turd is still a turd even when you sprinkle it with gold.

Clearly your a jealous sad Troll that clearly hangs out with other losers. Let's see Romeoville is one of the fastest growing communities in Illinois since 2000. Nope no one moved here! Just over 20k of them. Save your comments for Crest Hill where they make sense.

Crime rate has actually been going down steadly for the last several years. Everyone likes to scream cor r upto on but then the have no evidence of it. Actually its just the opposite. Romeoville has one of the strictest ethics ordinances in the state and has been held up as an example of what to do regarding ethics. If you want corruption you might want to look at the Plainfield Park District. Your points are all made up nonsense. You sad sad jealous troll.

Here are the surrounding towns doing far better than Romeoville:

Plainfield
Bolingbrook
Lemont
Shorewood
Lockport

5 towns that almost everyone in Romeoville would rather live in

Plainfield - virtually no real economic development. Downtown restaurants constantly closing down. We'll documented corrupt park district.

Bolingbrook - far higher crime rate. Way more in debt. Has laid off everyone they can. And that's just the beginning.

Lemont -nice place that is a fraction of the size. Has very little economic development.

Shorewood - same as lemont.

Lockport - do you really want to have that conversation. Everyone knows what the majority did there.

Your assessment is completely wrong and based on nothing.

Romeoville has had more development and wonot more awards than a of these other communities. That's why the state chamber has given them this award not once but twice.

You should stop pushing your nonsense. Everyone knows who you guys are and what your real motives are. Go back into your troll cave now.

The population is growing because the illegals are having 6 babies each not because yuppies are moving in, you dummy.
I live in Naperville where you would never be able to afford to live.
ps. Your spelling is atrocious! You must be a product of the Romeoville schools.
No wonder you feel so thrilled to live there...you fit right in.

Crime index is 38, meaning 72% of all the cities in US are safer than Romeoville.
No thanks. I will avoid even driving through Romeoville let alone shopping.
You must like to live in such a scumhole. So be it.
