The story would have been more useful to people familiar with the Chicago area had they listed which seven suburbs.

It's still unlikely a vote will be held this year because of the primary calendar. Most likely they'll bring it up first thing in Jan when the regular legislative session begins.

True. But it's good to know we are gaining more and more supporters who see that this IS a civil rights issue, not a religious or sexual one.

Only 7? I would hope for more. They should have come out one county further, the mayor of my town is gay, I know he would have signed the letter, but we are probably the exception in this area, the rest are Republicans that would not sign only because that would not want to upset their Christian base.
