The money spent on a "university" which graduates only 14% of its enrollees would be better spent anywhere. And some dumbass legislator has committed $40 million to a new building. No wonder the state is bankrupt.

It is too bad that law makers have bamboozled Watson into being the the fall guy for the problems of Chicago State University. Chicago State has had its problems ever since it evolved on 95th and King Drive. Time after time new presidents have been selected and placed at the helm fail due to their own inadequate agendas. Now Chicago State has a new president with a proven track record of Chancellor of Chicago City Colleges. With the many facets of running the city colleges, I am sure he will be successful in running the many facets of Chicago State University.

Dr. Watson has done an excellent job. I have attend CSU since the Fall of 2009. If you have never attended CSU you would only guess the difficulties that surrounded the university before and during the Watson Administration. Pay-cuts, students enrolling and not graduating has nothing to do with the President. I personally believe that CSU needs better professors. Those that live in the community and those that come from a distance to learn about the history of a university that has given second chances to those in need. Although my time at CSU has not been the best nor worst-- it has been a blessing.
