Good argument by the faith-based organizations. Their freedom to discriminate is being trampled on. Boo hoo. LOL

This shows just how clueless faith-based organizations are. They have nothing to do with marriage
.
There isn't a church; synagogue; or mosque anywhere in America that sells marriage licenses
.
A $35 marriage license is a government document sold in city halls and courthouses by government clerks. No religion needed or mentioned
.
Judges and Justices of the Peace solemnize marriages; sometimes for free. No preacher necessary
.
This is to assure marriage equality for hindus; jews; buddhists; muslims; catholics; mormons; holy rollers; fundies; and people from all cultures and nationalities; not just for christians
.
It's the American Way

They should do away with step 2. Once you get your license your marriage should be legally final. Whether you "solemnize" it or not should be irrelavent

Now let's see if they get it to a vote in the full senate before Wednesday.

You made a typo, you mean "sodomize" right?

If you find sodomy everywhere, even when it's not there, you might want to talk to a therapist.

How is a clergyman finalizing a state license a separation of church and state?

A clergyman's signature has to be registered with the state the same as a notary

Daily Horoscope for May 22

Scorpio

Don't believe everything you see today and your memory could be playing tricks on you, too. You might remember things in a distorted or false way, through no fault of your own. You may also be reading too much into the situations that are going on around you, making it hard for you to know what's really happening. Try not to make any big decisions today because you simply aren't thinking straight.
