The Roman Catholic Church is EVIL. We live in a secular, democratic, constitutional republic, the oldest on the planet.

The freedom of Americans to any religious faith, and to practice their religion openly is protected by our Bill of Rights.

But the Roman Catholic Church DOES NOT BELIEVE IN, NOR SUPPORT, THE CONCEPT OF "FREEDOM OF RELIGION". It's anathema to them.

They continually seek to impose, thru civil law, their own narrow religious views on Americans who FREELY CHOOSE NOT TO BE CATHOLIC ! THAT IS EVIL ! There is no other word to describe it !

Being oppoesd to freedom of religion, indeed our very Bill Of Rights, and thuse the U.S. Constitution, is not ONLY UN-American, it IS EVIL.

How can a devout Roman Catholic enlist in the military, or hold public office ? Because they must SWEAR to uphold the U.S. Constitution. If they are TRULY Roman Catholics, they cannot ! They cannot serve two masters.

"Natural Law" has a nice ring to it and sounds appealing. But exactly what it means is open to interpretation and flexibility.

It takes many forms depending on which version you subscribe to. But if we take a simple basic definition that it requires applying the laws of nature, or what happens in nature without the interventions of man, we find homosexuality to occur throughout nature to a significant degree across species and throughout time. While it is not the dominant role, it is consistently statistically significant and cannot be considered an aberration. As all major scientific bodies acknowledge, it is a part of nature.

Looking at humans, we also find that though not the predominant role, it also occurs in consistently significant numbers throughout time and across populations, even though attempts to suppress it have at various times and places, been severe, and at other times and places it has been accepted as a natural expression of human love for a minority of the population.

While there are various explanations of natural law, one of the tenants that appears throughout the various versions, is the ethic of reciprocity and equality. That "no man require to reserve to himself any right, which he is not content should be reserved to every one of the rest".

So if one acknowledges the scientifically proven fact that homosexuality is a natural occurrence and therefore a part of nature, and if one believes all people deserve the same rights, as natural law requires, it logically follows that natural law would require allowing homosexual persons the same rights heterosexual persons grant to themselves.

Flying a plane, driving a car, riding a train, using a lawn mower, firing a gun, surgical implants, anti-biotics, artificial limbs, dentures, crowns, fillings, clothes, shoes, eyeglasses, television, computers, radio and all other forms of technology go against nature, yet theft, murder, forced subjucation and raping children is acceptable to the catholic church.
